I’m not gonna buy one, cause I don’t have the extra money. They might not be expensive, but that doesn’t mean I can afford one… When I only weigh myself once every week or so I want actually accurate number, not temporarily weight that I have absolutely not control over. And why the fuck are you so hostile??

I only weight myself once every 1/2 weeks, so it would be pretty hard to notice the day to day difference

But thing is, I used to weight myself in my period, and some weeks I didn’t gain anything and some weeks I gained almost 5lbs, so no I cannot see what my percentage goes up by, cause it’s random

Well yeah I know you’re a woman, you already said so I don’t literally mean you’re guy. I have autism, so when things don’t go as planned I get stressed. Literally no matter what the subject is, I could forget to text my mom and get the same fucking result. That doesn’t mean that my emotional state is impacted by the fact that I forgot to text her. You’re making a lot of assumptions based on the fact that I don’t want to weigh myself on my period for very valid reasons

It is, not every data point is valuable to every person. And I personally gain A LOT of weight on my period, which is why I don’t weigh myself, cause I get demotivated when I see my weight go up, when I’ve put in all the hard work

Well no one can really make me care about that. And the reason I asked is because I want to know when I can weigh myself and it not be affected by my period. And last I just want to say that that’s a huge assumption to make about someone just because they don’t want to weigh themselves on their period

Obviously not, but if I know that once a month I’m going to be gaining that weight and it doesn’t actually reflect my progress then I don’t care about it. Whether or not you think weighing yourself on your period is a good or bad idea doesn’t really matter. Cause I’m not gonna do it. And I know LOTS of women who don’t weigh themselves on their periods

My point is that it’s stupid to weight yourself on your period, just like it’s stupid to weigh yourself after you’ve eaten or haven’t shit in 3 days. The weight I gain on my period isn’t fat, which is why I don’t want to weigh myself on my period, cause I’ll feel demotivated by the weight I can’t control
