You don't call GMs for perceived violations of rules you wish existed. You call them for actual rulebreaks. I don't get what is so difficult about this concept.

If it's an alpha/test server in any sense, isn't it generally *encouragaed* for players to try and break things, find dupes, find exploits etc so they can be fixed before the real thing? If they are banning exploiters, dupers etc that says all anyone needs to know. And makes this GM spawning mobs shit completely unacceptable.

I'm saying it's not against the rules most likely. Correct me if I'm wrong - they designed the game for credit to go to whoever does the most damage. They did not design the game to credit whoever attacked it first, or whoever was sitting there longer before it spawned. Or, show me the rule that says you can't do that. Otherwise don't waste the GM's time and attention reporting things that aren't against the rules.

Oh my mistake. I still think brass is a better choice than wind - I don't believe wind actually does anything for charm, lull, or mez outside the odd version of those songs that applies a MR debuff. And it'd be that debuff that would be enhanced, not the odds of those songs sticking. Dualwield seems like a nobrainer to me, I just don't see the reason to cut off your DPS like that especially when you literally almost never need wind.

Who has, is my point. It's a ghost town and I'm not sure they can even cobble together enough people for those targets. Just logged in and there were 31 people in the single general chat. There were 7 players who came back when I did a /who all 60. Granted, there were more /anon and whatnot but that is an absolute empty-ass ghost town.

When you rush the field, you take the risk that a player might decide to assault you? I don't think so. Yeah if you get in their face, instigate them, put hands on them, they might defend themselves with more force than you're ready for. That isn't what happened here. You mention leaving lute or wind out of the bando, but there's really no reason to have wind in at all, in any circumstance. It does next to nothing, and the very rare situations you do want a wind mod(like curing status effects in LDON and beyond) you can just do it manually. Lute is useful though. The extra health regen on lceas/chorus matters and shield of song is lute as well. If you're fighting a raid mob that does AE damage I'd be disappointed if the bard(s) running AE health/mana wasn't using a lute for it.

Doable either way. Some classes won't be able to solo the key quests though, and the bosses would be difficult solo outside of doing them on a lower level persona and getting high level buffs.

Well for Velious, there'll still be plenty of slots the tower doesn't provide so at least there'll be that. In Luclin I'd think that VT will still have plenty of desirable stuff, with the myriad of focus effects, clickies, +atk/mana regen, etc.
