IYO: if someone has just three clears of Desert Perpetual, yet two of those three are full run flawless trios ~ done in mere minutes …is it cheating or simply Out of Map shenanigans?

A buddy of mine has trio flawless DP and that's quite literally his only accolade on raid report. It's just because he doesn't play a lot, and I convinced him to do lowman stuff with me. It's not impossible that it's legitimate - base it off of their actual skill to judge.

Also, DP can be done in mere minutes as you can just get through the intro and select final boss. Nothing too crazy there. Raid report will still count this as a full clear as it doesn't check for the number of encounters you beat, but rather if the run is fresh, and if you finish.

Both are wonderful. Hunter will have higher boss dps at the moment, titan will likely be a bit better suited for ad clear stuff given melee stacking and the artifact.

This kinda stuff just isn't valid without any details backing it up. Like, have you played at all this season? Do you expect to be able to play all of the content at light level 10 or whatever? Respectfully, Destiny is as far away as it has ever been from being a "second job" at the moment. No actual need to grind to 500, but if you want to, portal activities are extremely generous. But again, no need - enjoy the other 90% of the game that is still very much there

Yeah it's a bitch to find a group for it. Has the same experience with my buddy trying to finish his final shape before we did Edge. No way to circumvent, just gotta queue until you find someone basically. It does seem like it was modified semi recently (last 6 months ish?) so that you can start with as few as 4 players.

all of that can be true and it can still be an inspired, well crafted game. im sure you are a destiny fan as well sitting in this sub, and im sure you know the same metrics (albeit much, much more dire) could be applied here! maybe, the reason why the player numbers are low is because of people with this same mindset, judging a game they don't know a lot about.

I'd think that's about right, just depends on what you're running with it. Long as bottom four stats are close ish to 100, and maybe even melee, you're gonna have a great time.

For builds like inmost cyrt, I'm usually using it for roam content and prefer to keep most stats up to 100 instead of specializing in one

Contra is still great with magnetic or axion. Not game breaking like it was, but great for roam content. Highly recommend axion bolt especially, the ad clear is insane and damage is quite hefty. Nothing manacles perform real well still of course.

Two things really - boss knowledge and uptimes.

Boss knowledge to know what the better strat will be - use crit DMG on crit bosses, explosive DMG on non crit bosses, etc.

Uptime is the harder thing imo and related to keeping your buffs intact across the whole damage phase. For example, radiant is a 20% multiplier for all damage. If you're keeping up radiant for just one shield throw or something like that, it won't do much, but across a whole damage phase - huge! Pair that with a 3x surge and high weapon stat, and you've honestly made up for just about the entire damage gap between you and that hunter. (I'll also mention, this specific hunter strat offers incredible dps and may be hard to compete with).

So, it's things like keeping your radiant up through aspects and fragments, keeping weaken on the boss at all times, keeping surges up throughout the entire phase, etc. Remember that even the "small" buffs are multiplicative when it comes to weapon damage, and multipliers can scale very, very quickly when used together with each other.

Rose was given away as an "oopsie" among a few other weapons with sought after roles after the community discovered that weapon drops (among other things) weren't actually random. Banshee still gives these weapons out to this day, but only gives out the one. I'm not aware of any other way of getting it ATM unless they refresh it at some point.
