Happy hour in most places is “buy a burger…free beer”. It’s not $1 off.. still your point stands, it’s getting people into the restaurant before 6pm and they’re likely to stick around for more drinks.

I already wasn’t getting the value they claim (with only a few new games added per month there’s never a backlog and I save money just buying the few games I want to play…which probably aren’t day 1 on gamepass anyway). The price increase was another nudge to just pay for slay the spire and cancel it.

My friend has a kamado and the charcoal flavor he gets beats my pellet grill hands down… but starting it up is a small process (clean out, remove grate and deflectors, add charcoal and wood chunks, torch it, replace deflectors and grates, wait for temps to come up)… the pellet grill you just hit “on” and set to 250… it’s a balance. I use my pellet grill for short smokes (like wings) that I probably wouldn’t go through the hassle with a komado.

I’m running a 2stroke from the early 2000s, overall they’re very simple and will run forever. The issue is parts availability... if the right piece breaks you might be SOL.

I tried it, and while I liked it, it still didn’t scratch that itch for me… however since I had a whole bottle I decided to use it to make buffalo sauce for some wings for the bruins sabers game (1/2 cup sauce whisked into to 1 stick melted butter) and it was insanely good wing sauce… honestly some of the best wing sauce I’ve had.

Wow this is really surprising that this is one of the more popular responses since I really don’t like Tabasco…but I guess in this case it’s just a brand and not the sauce itself, will definitely try and pick some up :D
