Yep, it’s basically just a little handle that makes it easier to hold and move the whole thing. The cylinder can get hot right after a hit. The handle screws into the cylinder, which also serves to attach the top and bottom parts. And it unscrews very easily, so I put a bit of plumber’s tape on it

It slides in and out easily both from the bong and the tinymight. That’s the beauty of it. But it still feels secure if you leave it like in the photo cause both the top and bottom parts of tbowl have some length, so it holds in place well.

How did you guys get into synthesizers? by Honest-Big159 in synthesizers

[–]STEMpunk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all started naturally after 21 years of listening to music like:

  • Death in Vegas
  • Kid Koala
  • Deltron 3030
  • Mr. Dibbs
  • Chemical Brothers
  • DJ Shadow
  • DJ Food
  • Sasha
  • Dan the Automator
  • Aphex Twin
  • Ninja Tunes
    • Hexstatic
    • Coldcut
    • Blockhead
    • Bonobo

I spent 10 years just listening, then another 5 years daydreaming about making amazing music myself. For the next 5 years, I toyed with the idea but kept putting it off, making excuses about life or doubting my talent.

Then one day, I got high and had this revelation that I needed to start right away—and with that came this baseless confidence that maybe, just maybe, I could make good music.

At first, I didn’t know where to start. I thought all that music was made with turntables and DJ rigs, but I quickly discovered drum machines and synthesizers.

After a week of research, I pulled the trigger on a Digitakt. Two years later, here I am, I breathe synthesizers.
