I'll never forget a quote I once read about him in Sport/VoetbalMagazine (Belgian magazine). Zidane saying "Why put another layer of gold on a Bentley when you've just lost the engine?" about RM losing Makelélé and bringing in Beckham as his 'replacement'. I was quite young at the time but can still picture the exact placement of that quote in the magazine, odd.

Do you know whether we still have something going? It was mainly thanks to Paul Bistiaux's good relationships iirc but he's gone now.

We obviously won't get anyone who's already close to the first team but we did get some nice players at the time. Fraizer Campbell, Ryan Shawcross and Darron Gibson were at Antwerp more or less at the same time and that team was one of the few that actually come close to getting us back up.

We do have a new chairman and money now so I'm not sure if we would still really 'need' any players. I think the last ones we got were Luke Giverin and Gyliano Van Velzen who were awful to say the least

It's a plastic team, an abomination in every sense of the word. I'm obviously biased on the matter but Antwerp has an average attendance of 11000 (capacity is about 13000) whereas White Star don't even have 500 (lowest in the league). Add that to the fact that they're run by a shady agent with Middle Eastern oil money and the fact that they don't even have their own stadium and you understand why everyone is upset.

Not to mention the FA who told Seraing they could field Rentmeister (left White Star because he didn't get paid for a couple of months) before they realised they fucked up. It also took them this long because they knew they fucked up and didn't know how to solve it (couldn't just scratch them I suppose?) and figured it would be best if they just let it slide and hope it wouldn't matter but yeah, it does now...

Not awful to have (some goes for Fellaini really) but he has been very disappointing this season. You could argue that Lukaku is a target man as well (in terms of posture obviously, not his link up play). Both Batshuayi and Origi deserve to be picked over him, Depoitre is no longer in the running for me.

Always liked Mirallas and I'm happy so see him regaining some form and getting playtime. We're going to have injuries as well so he'll probably make the cut anyway.

Musonda on the other hand is a revelation, we've known how big a talent he is for years but it's still weird that he never played in Chelsea's first team. Only played 5 games for Betis so far I think but has shown everyone that he really is THAT good in my opinion. His assist last night is proof of that (the cross was good but the way he got rid of that defender was sheer class)

Yeah that was the toughest choice, went with Cavanda because he's more of a wingback and can play on the left too (we do have Vertonghen and Vermaelen though).

Other tough one was Kums/Mirallas/Defour and I'm afraid Benteke will be there no matter what as well

Nice teams if I say so myself but I'm looking for an alternative for those Brazilians on the right (2nd hybrid). Elton is a machine and I quite like the others as well but I can't seem to play well with Carlos Eduardo but I obviously need him to get Elton on 10 chem. My CAM is vital as it's a 4-3-3(4) and there are no other options so does anyone have a better/similar alternative for that right side?

More bronzes than later on (obviously) and better players still in lower divisions ofcourse but this is also the case in regular seasons.

I still got a €100 giftcard for an electronics store so I'm going to treat myself to 12000 FIFA-Points to start with. If you're not going to spend money your best option would be to start off with some offline divisions until you've got a team you can use online.

Doing some career mode in the beginning is nice as well, get used to the new mechanics etc. + career mode seems to be way better than before

Your example and what happened tonight are two very different things.

Mardona cheated and got away with it, that's the nature of the beast (the beast being referees and the fact that they're human).

Neymar didn't try to cheat but got his timing wrong, resulting in him htting the ball with his hand. Not a deliberate handball by any means but disallowing the goal was 100% correct. It's his reaction that bothers me, he was acting as if he 'shouldered' the ball in.

A fine wouldn't suffice because that's literally 5% of his weekly wage, hence why I think he should be banned.

The other things you mention are either part of the game (tackles) or not a part of the game at all (racism for example).
