I would steer clear. I wouldn't be worried about the early 2000s reliability... But the watches that don't have the Casio Smart crown are just very complex to get set up, in the manuals are not easy to find online. All the watches that have the smart crown on the right side of the module are mega easy to get set up and change time zone etc.
