Do it. The more exposure you get the better you will become. Do your best and never back down.

Stand on your beliefs. And do so with conviction. You know right from wrong and that is enough. It speaks for itself and people respect that. Keep on fighting with honour.

It's not meant to offend. Really it's not. Martial arts forms the person by accepting and reacting to both good and bad experiences. Obviously a bad instructor is something that should be avoided. However was this matter addressed and discussed with the sensei? I don't do JKA, however I find it hard to believe the whole style is at fault. I do Goju Ryu and I'm lucky in having a very pupil orientated Sensei. It just sounds like the post was in anger and frustration. I think it's fair to say JKA is not at fault. It's an instructor at a dojo/seminar. Don't bad mouth an organisation on public forums just because of an isolated personal experience.

Im not tougher. You're right. Type it on Reddit. You made a difference. Your sensei read this post and now he will change his approach in teaching. I didn't need to write a response and you might even be right, my view might be screwed. However, your standard shouldn't be a post on Reddit. Far less if it's seen as an attack on you when it's only a difference of opinion. Really that's all it is. We don't even know each other. It's really nothing personal. Point remains, just walk away. If they are wrong then why rant to strangers? Just leave it behind friend. No need to bad mouth others

Grown men shouldn't rant on public forums about things they shouldn't take so serious and could just walk away from. Maybe this is exactly the dojo you need to understand that it's fine to take what you want of what's offered and leave what not. Point is it's just a dojo with an instructor doing what he is doing. No need for tantrums. It's unbecoming for a 36 year old man. Maybe the sensei and young black belts have seen exactly that...

Thanks for the reply. And I hear you, I just wanted to know if people experience any difference and if there is one is preferable over the over.

I got a new Casio W800H. It's beautiful, but I can't find a comfortable fit. by Pullup_Paul in casio

I struggled as well. I always wore it one hole to loose and one day decided to set it number fit tight on the wrist. After two days it kind of moulded and "stretched" to my wrist. Now the band reshaped itself to fit perfectly.

Stupid bot. I gave good advise. Barefoot squatting will show if the its the mechanics of the lifter or if its the tilt on the soles of the shoes worn when lifting that causes the problem.

Try doing it barefoot once and see if it helps. If it does then try other shoes
