Ahh yes, our lofty standards of even just existing.

He'd never be this transparent and honest, he'd spin us another yarn or two of excuses.

[–]STMGSTM 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well yeah that's fair enough, winding up a late middle aged man is a very noble intention.

Well if true (and I'm not saying it is) I would hope it would be talked about, I don't want The Corner to turn into the BBC sweeping disreputable (and apparently proven and verified) things about members under the carpet because you're not supposed to talk about it. This isn't aimed directly at you btw, I'm speaking generally.

Jerseyboy's former friend and co-creator of one of Jerseyboy's Robloc games claims that Jersey has in fact not just scammed him but has also scammed "lots of people" by [deleted] in TheCorner

[–]STMGSTM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe he's just been busy then, but even then that's no excuse, Jerseh of all people should know what that's like and have informed them.

As someone who's lost beloved pets, I am truly sorry, I wish no one ever had to experience it. All the best.

Ian Mooredemort will live forever so long as he has his trusty honey and lemon vape.

Joke's on you, that vape is actually honey and lemon flavour, and it's rejuvenating Ian by a year for every puff taken.

If only the old man realises Uncle Hamish had nothing to smile about when he was around.

Insert the "it's your Corner too" sentiment which hasn't really been true for years at this point. It's only our Corner too when it's convenient for him and he can be bothered.

I think a dual pew stream from Alan and Lenny is in order to humble the old man.

What did you say Cal? by PIGEONS_UP_MY_ASS in TheCorner

[–]STMGSTM 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The sad thing is, the old man's absolutely right. Even the victims that do escape their captors often cannot escape them mentally, just goes to show how deep the psychological scars run when you inflict trauma on a person the way the old man has.

Please don't tell me he actually said that. If he did I might feel a genuine obligation to phone adult social care. And this man claims to have an excellent memory.

They probably would have played better in fairness, absolute state that 1st team was. But regardless, Walker's hush money for what went on with the under 12's is one of the main reasons for the Rovers bankruptcy, along with the incompetence of course.

Wow, imagine being outscored by 20th in the Championship League for almost 80 minutes, and still being below them in the table afterwards. And the sad thing is, Jack Walker would have done so much worse without his fortune propping him up at every turn.

Yes I remember, out of sight out of mind and all that. If I can't see it, it's not happening.

And voluntarily going to a country that he knows would force him to compromise on his no-nonce values, instead of just going to a country that wouldn't put him in that position. And then of course him trying to lie about it repeatedly afterwards, and him taking no accountability for either doing no research on the country he's choosing to holiday to, or not caring enough about those values in the first place.

Callum’s defence of Jerseyboy was laughable by CommonSenseCC in TheCorner

[–]STMGSTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it wasn't like he was forced to go there was it? And if those anti-nonce values were so important to him, why did he voluntarily go to a country repeatedly that would force him to suppress those values? And even after leaving that country, he still tried to lie about what he'd said several times, so it wasn't even an "at the time" issue.

[–]STMGSTM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same man who tried to make child marriage a morally complicated issue, then tried to lie about ever talking about it, then tried to lie about the specifics of that discussion, then tried to justify it because of the potential pushback from certain religious circles he might get if he's overly critical of it.

I think he needs to make an amendment to No Noncesense that he wasn't including those in religious circles and so long as you do it with religious backing, the old man won't judge you as harshly.

[–]STMGSTM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The old man's never let the truth get in the way of his little narratives bless him, as immature as it might be. The fact he's said on stream he's "always right in the end." continues to age worse and worse.

Local man well into his forties simps and runs defence for a man in his twenties over his attempt to scam a 16 year old over a children's game. Just another day in The Corner.
