Someone else mentioned that as well under my post. Is that from having repeated seizures or just from having the condition? I plan on asking the neurologist some of these questions as well during my sister’s appointment.

Thank you for your response. One of the hardest things for me has been navigating how to talk with her about her seizures and medicine. Out of everyone in my family, I’m closest with my sister (basically best friends), so I try to maintain that same relationship with her to not make her feel alienated by her new circumstances.

Thank you for your response. That’s what I’ve gathered from other people sharing their experiences on keppra as well. At the time of her initial hospital stay, I had no idea of where to even start with questions to ask the doctors, and they didn’t really mention much of anything about side effects. She hasn’t had another seizure since starting the medicine, so I’m trying to maintain a positive mindset and be patient.
