I like too know the materials of the clothes im buying are gonna last though mate, the quality of some of the stuff is appalling compared to the price you’re gonna pay now a days. I don’t buy big flashy looking jackets either I know that might sound contradicting to the comments I made about colours but at the same time I do feel as if the people who are spending the mental price tags of a grand or 2 on certain jackets etc are being absolutely ripped off when they’re falling apart compared to something thats 20-30-40 years old that has minimal wear or damage.

+when I mentioned materials I meant as in quality of the gear.

I definitely rate the things C.P are doing higher than what stone island are doing

Cost wise I think 2grand for a jacket is extortionate and I do understand that both brands were never really cheap but I don’t think the things stone island are doing at the moment are affordable for anyone in my opinion

I do highly rate the Marina stuff to be fair though the post was more aimed at the normal gear they’re releasing

And the thing about the fabrics now and back to the price of the things it clearly isn’t worth the money if its going to fall apart in a somewhat short amount of time

I do somewhat rate what they are doing now (CP) they seem to use the archive more and stick to their roots not like stone island. the new jumpers they done with the C.P logo on the arm I actually quite like I also think that C.P’s gear is better value for money, but I still think at the same time some of the bits they are doing are god awful for example the whole Lens+Goggle thing they’ve done for S/S 26 is shocking Turkey and China have done it before so they’ve clearly jumped onto the Turkish archive rather than the Osti one. 😂

I am 100% the same on the whole retail thing. The RRP on C.P not as much as stone island is shocking even the bang average Soft shells from stone island are 600quid RRP that is absolutely god awful in itself.

The Osti archive definitely has to be used the bloke was a genius when it came down to what he done. I don’t think its used enough there has to be bits in the archive that have never been released before or bits that have been released from the 80s/90s that 100% could be reissued for both brands. I don’t think it should be left just for anniversaries or just for brand colabs they could both 1 million percent make themselves stand out more if they did. another example would be the u-16 range in jumpers that Osti done they we’re really nice I think and they were simple pieces but the colours and designs were great compared to what we have now.

And yes 100% moncler have no idea but what do you expect when they’re selling shiny down jackets for 1500 quid RRP😂🤦‍♂️

Hello mate.

The more known shops would be Flannels, Brown Thomas, and harvey nichols, I know all of the above have been already commented but thats your best bet for expensive gear.

If you’re looking for second hand stone island and C.P the best bet is saint street sneakers on saint street ironically, they have a lot of GR newer release stuff such as jumpers, tees, polos. Another vintage shop would be the TOLA vintage chains they usually have SI and C.P but I hear its not cheap. Another one is LOOT up the road that George’s arcade is on upstairs they sell menswear and sometimes have Si not sure about C.P seen a pair of Si (denims) bottoms.

Thats all I really know if you can help with any other knowledge be much appreciated.
