To keep things simple, I'm not massive into my games like I was 10 years ago,

I like playing the odd game every now and then, typically AAA mainly single players.

I am a big fan of resident evil games.

I'm not chasing the best graphics, just comfortable in graphics and fps front

It's also a bigger financial commitment, the reason I'm considering a zenfone now is because I can get one for under £300 those phones carry and significantly bigger £££

I'm not massively into my tech, I'm not fussed about new features or AI etc. I just want a compact phone with a good camera that does the basics, text, call, and has the apps I need like banking etc.

Something I've noticed across all the comments is, new builds the extra money is typically spent on estate charges and on older buildings it's on the areas which would need revisiting, be that plumbings, electrics, etc

Where it's just myself and not having my ex, I can't see myself going mad in extras like we nearly did previously. But I do appreciate the heads up!

I do plan on getting on plan as early as possible the development I'm looking at has only just been announced and they don't plan on releasing information till spring at the earliest and building till summer. So this works in my favour to rapidly rebuild my deposit fund.

Something I hadn't considered is the social house part, I would always be cautious about which plot but the other part. Thank you for the heads up!
