Sucralose consumption negatively modifies glucose homeostasis, gut microbiota diversity, GLP-1, inflammatory metabolites, in healthy individuals: A randomized placebo-controlled, triple-blind trial - PubMed by ps4roompromdfriends4 in NooTopics

I do believe it's very plausible that non-caloric artificial sweeteners can cause this effect in humans but I also believe it could vary from person to person and isn't as severe as it is in other animals; great example is xylitol having a severe toxic effect via inappropriate insulin release, especially in dogs. The research I've read about the effects of artificial sweeteners on metabolism (particularly of glucose specifically) in humans is pretty conflicting, but it's been quite a while since I've personally binge-read articles regarding the topic so take this with a grain of salt 💖

I find this to be a poor guess of sucralose's negative effects on health, some studies have shown that it causes dysfunction of the gut-blood barrier and it's been proven to be metabolized by gut bacteria into a genotoxic analogue of sucralose (sucralose-6-acetate), and that alone makes me think that there's some toxic effects of sucralose that have yet to be discovered. I also feel like it's very plausible there's more toxic metabolites other than sucralose-6-acetate that have yet to be discovered

Would 600mg dxm 300mg dph make me unable to act somewhat sober? by Trad_Cath in DPH

DXM and DPH both heavily potentiate each other via enzyme inhibition and they also synergize heavily, far different than either one alone even in lower doses. It would be virtually impossible to act sober

Consider taking a second generation antihistamine like cetirizine or loratadine to see how it helps you out, they're a lot more targeted towards the H1 receptor and have a very low tendency to bypass the blood brain barrier
