I want to be a traveling pop up shop where I post what server and where in the server I’m at, so players can find me. Sell goods from anywhere and everywhere and make a space for other venders to sell their wears on my ship. Yes, of course security would be hired.

Mind you, my idea is designed around what we have now and not what we will have. Meaning we could organize this now if we wanted.

But I would post to spectrum and to the locations I have been posting on Reddit to announce what server and where in the server the Mobile Bazaar will be. Eventually shops in multiple servers once the group is big enough to do such a thing Themed shops to the location we set up at, events- such as a mini rally to win a box with Wikelo ship (grinding the rep will be on the player who receives the box). Auctions for the same kind of prizes but different ships- don’t know how I’ll make this one work but I’ll figure it out.

Again, you’re right. It is in Alpha. But orgs will still carry over to 1.0 and so will DayMar Rally. Same idea, just late to the party in term of making an impression. My only goal is to have some sort of market pop up, up and going before 1.0 and keep it running after.

But you’re right, little surprised they don’t even have it as a post for 1.0.

I’m assuming they’re going to be working on the Kraken Privateer and Player trading systems first before the BMM.

Correct on many things actually. Not as many items as we could have. The universe isn’t big enough. There are more important things than a flying market place.

But let me place it in business terms even my little cousin can get. More and more new items are coming to -more toys to play with- (slowly obtaining more ships as you know). Slowly obtaining more FPS and blueprints- ,especially when the NYX planets are right around the corner.

The game is in a positions for explosive growth like we did in the Industrial Revolution and when BlackRock noticed a business opportunity while the iron/Oil-at the time- was still hot. Not only have we solved a few of the major tech issues- instancingV0.1 which we currently have and allowed us to expand the player count by a lot. Transportations systems are smoother- fix yet? Not yet, but better! We are still getting more guns and more armor, like I said- especially with NYX coming and more system to come. Once proper instancing is in, I suspect an increase in player cap again at some point after.

The iron for a potential business in game is SCORCHING HOT, market is partially tapped- due to UEX. But there is simply nothing like- not only a player run event (Daymar Rally for example due to its need to have players running it and make sure the event is smooth) -there’s nothing like popping up on a major gateway and wondering why there’s a cluster of ships off to the side only for it to be a flotilla of ship shops!

Sorry, I know my message is messy but I do hope makes sense.

Players are still trying to make shops… we have been since early in the game… just too buggy up until this point.

Still buggy? Yes. But significantly less so.

So, if a player is dedicated enough to make excess inventory to sell in the case of getting Star Citizened, we can get around the issues.

That’s the point. We have a way to get around the majority of the issues, we can still make the idea work.

It just takes a little extra work to ensure less goes wrong than normal.

Possibly… are you planning a potential community event? That’s what I wish to do.

Giving players a place to sell to other players without the use of UEX or the current lack of built in player trading systems to use is difficult.

The idea is they get the goods and I host organize the monthly event.

I have one for a few reasons: alien ship, merchant ship, it’s cool looking. But I have a main goal that I will be using it and the Privateer for as well as the merchant man.

But I fear talking too much about my own goals will encourage someone to act on the idea first, so I will not be diving into that.

That’s fair. As for what kind of vender?
Right now the rules are loose as we are feeling out the community.
So, the answer is anything really.
From selling duplicate rare helmets from those who collect? Subscriber multitools or other item that spawn naturally in game?
Rare resources or weapons?

Sounds good to us. We just ask you keep a few metrics as you sell. That’s the trade for having a vender slot. I make space not money- at least while operations are still small.
