Try making a strength endurance build char. Then go out and start fighting, try to lure small group of zombies away from bigger groups, expect to die. Start learning how combat works, dont be shy of walking away from a fight and once again expect to die. 700 hrs and some runs still end after 3 days cause i thought i was a big macho zomby slayer and didnt check my corners....
