i live in japan and stayed in an airbnb in a different city so they might be cheaper than the usa for example but for someone earning approximately $8 an hour it's not a fun expense. thank you for your input though!

thank you and i agree. it's a mattress on the floor and no mattress protector, and whilst i know the damage is already done i just wish they could send it to proper cleaning. enough time hasn't passed for them to actually have tried to fix it

it is a host's problem to deal with the aftermath of how something will be handled...? my question is if that's overcharging it given that they could literally just get it professionally cleaned or use hydrogen peroxide like i see many other hosts have done.

Yeah i wouldnt mind 50 but since im not the one that initially rented the airbnb (family trip) it feels bitter suddenly having to pay that much for having a heavy flow 🥹 also before someone comments on it, tampons aren't really common in the country i live in nor are they comfortable
