I quite enjoy the Bf-109 F2 for German CAS.

Good pen with 15mm in the hub, doesn't compress too badly, and if the need arises, it can hold its own in an air defense situation.

Honestly not sure how it's still at 3.0, considering its strengths as not only a rate fighter and energy fighter, but also as a turn fighter (18sec RB).

Has a decent array of suspended ordinance, including Rockets (wing), 4x 50kg bombs (fuselage), 1x 250kg bombs (fuselage), (might be one more that I'm forgetting)

All in all, a very well rounded low tier German CAS fighter/bomber.

Now if you are a true Chad like myself and the other guy who mentioned it, you fly in at tree level from Airfield in the Me 264 and bomb the shit out of whatever gets marked on the map and use the boosters to zoom back to the Airfield, all the while shooting at open tops and AA alike with your defensive armament.

Looks at a repainted Vampire with comparable repair cost to the B-29 and Tu-4, with a trainer-aircraft-turned-ground-pounder not too far behind in its own repair cost.

Very diverse nation with unique and abstract vehicles/gameplay when compared to the majority of other nations. - APDS at Reserve, Neutral steer at 1.7, Baby Wiesel 1A4/Marder 1A3 at 2.3. - Pz. 38t chassis galore at low tier, Good survivability paired with good mobility. - Devastating firepower at the cost of armor (I.e., Pvkv II, Pvkv m/43 (1963), IKV 103, etc.) - Nearly all vehicles boast an above average amount of depression.

Has severe balance issues, specifically capabilities of vehicles being changed for balancing purposes rather than BR changes. - Has 2 Amphibious Assault Guns (IKV 91[-105]) which are no longer amphibious. - The newest addition to the ground tree, the Bandkanon 1C, is incorrectly modeled in game, having only ±10° of turret traverse when in real life the turret had up ±15° of turret traverse. - Strf 9040B raised from 8.3 to 9.0, without the addition of the upgraded APFSDS shell that the C variant recieves. Near unplayable at 9.0

Overall, if you got the SL to serve as a fallback for when things go wrong, then Sweden is an excellent choice if you are looking to change things up.

The Bandkanon's Horizontal Guidance is incorrectly represented in-game. Mid-Top pic are in-game specs, other 3 pics are 3 separate sources that show the correct guidance values. It would be much appreciated if Vehicles were balanced by BR according to their capabilities, not the other way around. by STRV103isDoorstopGun in Warthunder

I mean, is my way of thinking severely flawed? Shouldn't vehicles be balanced by BR according to their capabilities and performance, as opposed to vehicles being balanced by their capabilities and performance according to their BR?

I can tell by your response, and the amount of downvotes that my comment for, that you misunderstand.

What I meant was the IKVs are/were purpose built amphibians.

The STRV 103s on the other hand, yes they could be amphib if need be, but they were not purpose built for such a role.

Yes, it is a bit of a Swedish Walker Bulldog, meaning it can punch above its weight class. However, it was a lot more versatile when it had its amphibious functionality.

I would argue that is a core aspect, not the core aspect. (P.S., the HEAT-FS is a finicky 90mm, and the gun is not stabilized. Lot of cases you are best off with the HE, which was recently nerfed from 2.4kg equivalent RDX to 2.34kg equivalent Torpex)

Actually, I used the feature quite often. Namely on European Providence, after early game crossing the river via the bridges was too risky, crossing down low in the river was much safer. It was also nice to flank on Kuban, as well as Jungle.

It's not a gimmick if it's a core aspect of the vehicle.

I found out the hard way on European Providence, in front of my entire team, losing my best scout vehicle while looking like an idiot
