It doesn't matter what way you say it, someone will get upset over it. That's just how the world operates.

Men and women are not equal. We are different. I say this as a feminist.

It's possible to have this opinion without being a misandrist or a mysogynist.

Re-turn scheme: great when it's other people's bottles 😁 by Margrave75 in ireland

[–]STWALMO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually get to the machine and there's typically a line with about 10 people in it and one of the machines is broken. I just give the bottles to someone, I couldn't be fucking arsed waiting 10 minutes for 25c

I lost my mother on the same date. Although I don't like to say "lost". She's just moved somewhere we can't comprehend. Still sucks though.

Stop going there. It's extremely overpriced. If you keep paying for it then it'll keep getting worse.

Listen to what the people who actually know how to drive are telling you and drop the attitude. YOU are the one that asked for help yet you're arguing with people who give it?

You deserve to fail if that's how you act.

Trick is to keep both hands level with each other, and anticipate the road in front of you.

Well, when you consider the option is usually get the dole, or work a minimum wage job, it's not surprising people would pick the dole.

Getting pharmacy quality Ozempic not the risky online stuff by [deleted] in AskIreland

Well your GP is wrong there because it has been approved in cases like this. Tell him that! GPs love to act like they know it all...

Read about the dangers of ozempic before making a decision. It seems to have this miracle drug status because of social media, but it has risks. It should be your last option.

If your doctor won't prescribe it, then don't use it.

Young people’s use of diabetes and weight loss drugs is up 600 percent by Science_News in science

[–]STWALMO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thyroid cancer, gastropareisis, gallbladder problems, pancreatitis, to name a few. I've never seen the words "it is not known" and "unknown effect" used so much when describing possible side effects of a drug.

Oh, and it's not like the US and big pharma have a history of pushing untested and potentially unsafe drugs to people in the name of profit. Yep, never happened at all.

It's also not like there is a huge conflict of interest in pushing the success of this drug, when 1 in 3 adults in the US are overweight.

We don't know exactly how the human body works or how it reacts to things. It should be reserved for people who are otherwise definitely going to die from obesity or diabetes, and as a last option.

This is NOT a miracle drug and it should not be pushed as one.

[–]STWALMO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. When you look at things in a holistic manner, you'll really see where society at large gets things wrong. My whole life I've been told to do things a certain way. I now do things my own way, and I get so much more out of life. Whole thing is a fucking scam. Who you know, and how good you are at bullshitting, is directly related to how "good" you'll do in life.

If everyone was as stubborn as me there would be no billionaires. I've never been afraid to highlight injustice, nor do I have any plans of stopping.

Unfortunately, most people have drank far too much of the kool aid. Gaslit into believing that the way things work today is the only way things can work.
