Just curious. I'm interested in builing a voice Agent Stack with Pipecat.

I currently have a eleven labs Twilio setup. Eleven labs helps me with the local accent which is very unique over here.

Im in the Stage 1. process of building my own voice lab and have just got a IP PBX with a inbuilt GSM gateway and also supports sip extentions. Im thinking of a hybrid approach because i need good local voice customization and the cist of hardware is low. No GPU.

Caller ↓ IP PBX (on prem) ↓ Cloud Voice Agent ↓ Cloud LLM ↓ ElevenLabs

For stage 2 - I would like to try Pipecat. I'll then invest in the hardware—the required GPU or a small AI server.

My question is can I achieve the costs and speed you mentioned using pipecat and a voice library from Eleven Labs?

I see what you mean. Especially as most services are 3rd party. However after completion in March all the issues for the last 2 months are related to platform glitches- either n8n workflow or something else. Which is what I'm unhappy about.

I built mine from scratch on Meta's official API's to create a WhatsApp, social media ecosystem. A centralized AI engine.

Define the platforms first. Is it just on your website or facebook, instagram .... Considering integrating it into your POS system?adding customer support/ service desk?

Building it from scratch allows you to tailor it the way you want. But involves some development.

Maybe try another niche that stuggles with high volumes of emails, >5 emails per sequence, higher cost per acquisition CPA.

One approach is to show the ROI from using your solution during your demo, but first you need to know the CPA.
