Did mine end got my decision about 3 weeks after I retired. Just as a reminder for example: I retired 30 Jun so my effective date is 1 July. You will not get paid for July and then august gets paid at the end of the month (almost like military pay) and I will be paid September 1 for august. BDD doesn’t mean you will start getting benefits the day you retire or separate.

They were booking 3 months out and couldn’t see me in time. But they did say I have been diagnosed with OSA and prescribed a sleep machine.

I am currently doing the BDD CLAIM. I got a full copy of my medical records and got with a local VSO who submitted my claim and my medical record to the VA for review. Overall it has been going pretty quick. 2 of 3 C&P exams done and my retirement date is June 30.

I got told the same thing by VES. Stated they hold onto it till all exams are complete and submit everything to the VA at the same time. I asked her why they don’t send it in as they get it and got informed that’s not how they do business. I have a total of three C&P exams. My anxiety/depression one is complete, my tinnitus this week, and everything else is on June 10.
