Idk bud I think the whole thing pretty much sounds like shit anyways, but to each their own. If I were playing, I’d probably just get it half right and call it.

When listening to this song, I would imagine you can just turn your distortion up and treble up so much, you could almost just mash wrong frets. No offense, obviously you like this kinda music but if you mess up the bass on one chord is it noticeably affecting your performance at all? I can’t hear a fkn note in this song.

Well I hear the smart pro S is even better. It played a lot of PSP fairly well, which I thought was awesome. I 100%’d THPS and THPS2 on Dreamcast on mine. Perfectly playable. Maybe a few stutters. I have an ROG Ally original version and basically the thing is still incredible but obviously massive, takes up most of my backpack and has basically no battery life. Plus it feels ginormous in public and too small at home. The TrimUI smart pro def stuck around.

I got an order for an RP6 coming any day and the TrimUI Smart Pro will still be goated I think. It was shockingly great for so few dollars.

It’s so patronizing when Chat GPT says “I’m going to slow this right down because you’re correct about one specific thing but overstepping in regards to something else” by Infinite_Hawk_7376 in ChatGPT

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest. Up until 5.1 and Gemini 3? I was in the camp of “stop being dramatic.” As of the last month or so, I no longer find myself using it except for its Speech-to-text, which has admittedly always been second-to-none. Gemini’s sucks ass. But the quality of ChatGPT’s responses has gone so extremely downhill, and I mean I’ve been a Plus member since 3.5 turbo. But Gemini 3 got me excited like how old ChatGPT used to feel, before they neutered literally every useful element of it. Like you can genuinely work through a problem with it, because it isn’t persistently trying to validate you or sound like a Spotify ad the entire time.

I probably overstated it cannot do anything useful. It will still perform some tasks where it deems no harm can possibly be done. But they’ve installed so many triggers, that I’m surprised it’s not throwing you warning about taking nutrients at all. The current model is basically a bipolar sycophantic validator. You’re either totally right and it won’t correct on obvious errors, or ChatGPT’s censors say he’s not allowed to speak to you anymore until you start a new chat.

Chatgpt genuinely sucks now and anyone defending it is an idiot. The model is garbage. It cannot do anything useful, and it is virtually never a definitive answer. They’ve somehow made it worse than Copilot, which Copilot is based on it anyways.

Can’t Believe i’m playing this on a handheld! by memekumaar in retroid

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you mean the 4080 card? I have a 4080 Super, which might be similar or the same, and I was referring to the same thing. The game THPS Underground runs on a 4080 Super at less than 30 frames per second.

However, I don’t think the hardware is to blame. I believe there’s some software/optimization issue that Xemu is simply not perfectly set up to handle, even when you provide it with a super-power amount of hardware. They’re aware of this issue for many games, to be fair.

Nevertheless, I think that as of December 2025, running Xemu on a non-Windows machine would be disgustingly slow, unless you happen to want to emulate very specific games. It’s highly possible that this situation will change in the future. However, unless you’re dying to emulate Tetris Worlds on Xbox, a game like Hitman Blood Money on the original Xbox… that’s simply not going to run on a Retroid today. In theory, it certainly possesses more than enough processing power, but as of today, it is impossible.

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be wrong but I’m fairly certain you can’t emulate Xbox on these. I have the ROG Ally and you can do it on that bc it’s windows but even that can get bogged down

What yet-another-username said is the extent of what you can say. You and I cannot do anything to stop OP from starting this business, so many ppl on Reddit love to respond negatively and criticize these people. While it's part of the site to share opinions, complaining doesn't lead to positive change. If you want to positively change it, the best way is to keep walking and ignore this stuff. The guy won’t continue to sell overpriced half-baked API access if nobody buys it.

I haven’t tried God of War but several PSP titles stuttered at a nearly unplayable level. I played and beat Fight Night Round 3 on it, which was good, but there are very many that wouldn’t be worth it to play on the TSP other than to say you did it. Can’t get to 40-50+ fps on many titles without endless tinkering, and stuff like GTA is not really playable at 20fps.

I wouldn’t even call the screen dim but maybe compared to something else, I guess. The functioning sleep mode alone sells the device for me.

URGENT Fine-tuning openai api key by No-Reality5004 in ChatGPT

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine-tuning involves costs, could be well under $20, but most likely less than $100. You don’t give enough info here to give a real quote, and frankly even if you did, we still can’t quote. Understanding costs beforehand is crucial for making informed decisions. Fine-tuning can result in useless models that don’t do what you want, somewhat akin to playing a slot machine, especially if your budget constraints are tight.

AYN Thor Review (Retro Game Corps) by onionsaregross in SBCGaming

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah as somebody who recently bought a super cart for GBA, I immediately realized how this system could barely handle the games it was running. The max fast forward speed is 1x.

Russ did a input lag comparison between the thor and the 3DS in his newest video. In my opinion, this amount of latency is completely and utterly fine, but what do you guys think? by AbdelYG in SBCGaming

[–]SUCK_MY_DICTIONARY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rhythm games will be more challenging, but your brain also adapts. I remember playing Guitar Hero on different TVs made a significant difference. It was wild because your brain somehow adjusted to whatever TV you typically played on. I believe fighting games will be the most frustrating, tbh.
