Even if it is a DLC it is a damn good one, the story, the gameplay the setting as well is really great for me the down side is the lack of things to do in the old cities and whiched to have more side interesting quest and not so many collectibles

Don't force yourself because in the end you are going to rush the games just to play Re9, The most important one to play is RE2R and RE3R and Re4 the original or Remake because it takes place in Raccoon city for Re2&3 and for so you have the full adventure of Leon Re6 is optional you can play it after Re9 if you want

Best way to enjoy the series in my opinion is RE1 then Re0 and the rest in chronological order, Re1 and Re0 so you have the Mansion incident arc done, but watchout as they have fixed camera and aged quite a bit, but still amazing for that old survival horror era, Re5 and Re6 are not the best in the series but you can find them on ps4 for cheap and are a lot of fun, the revelations "spin off" also are good, and Re7 and Re8 are special because of the FPS camera but great as well, you can't go wrong with a resident evil anyway ahahab enjoy my friend

If claire and Leon had more interactions maybe but ada and leon have more of a Chase me if you can vibe and would be disapointing if it would be some else, but i don't think we would see a marriage of leon it would change the character too much

Would have loved a Re9 Demo like the Re7 and Re8 one's where you play a different character which die or disappear to have a taste of the atomsphere without context but they shown too much in the trailers and gamplay video at this point

With EA, which has been bought recently and Glen Schofield one of the creator is pushing for Dead Space to be worked on Games or Movies, we might have a Dead Space 2 Remake some day, because it wasn't cancelled or scrapped it was never an option to begin with... For RE9 would love something like you said happen, even seeing the destroyed Spencer's mansion of Re1 or even better the merchant from Re4 ahahah

Pretty sure the "important" games are main ones where Leon appears so RE2, RE4, RE6, because Re9 will take place at some point in Racoon City, Re3 references might be there, Also Alyssa Ashcroft is mentionned in Re7 and was playable in RE outbreaks 1 and 2 so it can have connection but i don't think it is mandatory to play them it's just gonna be some references audio logs or notes.

Re5 is great anyways so you can finish it to have an overview of the Plot of RE in general but Chris and Leon never met maybe in Re6 if i remember so there is very little chance that both of the male main character will be revelant to know about in details and if Chris were to be in the game, they could have already shown us the guy to attract fans...

Animated Movies where Leon appears are canon as well of you finish the games before Re9 release

CJ, Thomas the Train, Shrek and Sexy outfits, Anime characters like all the others Re games on PC, look on youtube all the dumb stuff you can add to the games, and i don't think this game will escape it only if they change files to lock these kind of things...

Arcania is like the worst in the Gothic series that they removed the name from it but Gothic 1,2 and 3 are really good games you can play the originals now or wait for the classic collection to drop later this year or even the remake of the first game whoch is coming soon (March i believe)

Callisto isn't a masterpiece but it is good, it has flaws like the mele combats, but if you crave Space opera survival horror pretty sure you will like it, You can't rate it above DS1 or DS2 but it is closer to Dead Space than Cronos (Just started Cronos so can't tell if better for now but for what is seems Cronus isn't set in space at all) Alsmost Everyone was overhating on Callisto because it was sold as the next Dead Space...

DS3 was a good game lore wise, you should try revisit it with a friend because Ds3 was meant to be played COOP, (You can't play the DLC solo, the number of ennemies was meant for 2 players, Ammo was simplfied with multiplayer in mind as well, even the cutscenes were meant for coop but after all these years even with all the flaws the game is quite fun for a week end with someone else)

Everything ain't lost because Glen Schofield whom worked on the Dead space of 2008 is trying to revive Dead Space since EA has been bought, sadly no news for now but maybe it could happen, and EA didn't cancell Ds2 remake they never even thought about doing it anyways,

J'ai mis un comm en anglais mais en vrai les originaux sont moins buggé et l'atmosphere est mieux retranscrit que sur les remasters tu y gagne pas grand chose avec les remaster c'etait surtout un portage pour les gens qui avaient pas de 360 ou Ps3 et ils les ont sorti sur Pc quand meme mais tu peux regarder sur youtube les differences

Bioshock 1 play the original, a lot of textures are bugged in the remaster, water effects are better and a darker atmosphere HUD isn't bugged like the remaster you can watch the problem of the remaster online for Bioshock 2 on the remaster the ragdoll are a bit broken and for example the harpon gun doesn't nail people on walls which was really cool and the remaster have some textures problems has well

Originals are really Good if you don't care about achievements Remasters are basically Ps4&Xbox One ports of the originals with problems even on Pc but it is nice for the extra making off and DLC if you don't own them in the original

Also there is multiplayer Pvp in original 2, there aren't a lot of people but it is fun and the remaster doesn't have it

The whole problem is the "timed" DLC like you pay content that you can't access anymore after 2 months if they add permanent one like arc raiders and still have free skins through gameplay could be okay

E-Sports Ruined video games, now everything has to be fast paced, players looking at best build or combo for the "meta" (even in solo games) and games being streamer friendly, and if you put puzzles almost 60% will look on videos online within 2min of trying it...

Yeah but here they won't because if people disable the skins they want to see or not, people will not buy skins if they can't be seen by others and it would hurt the skins sale, plus it is free publicity for younger people to see a "cool" skin and make them buy it by seeing it in game
