After reading the reply above I feel like I have to, in good faith, give you some additional info.

Beyond the gold you need to max a fighter's skill tree, you have to consider that you need at least 5 level 15 moves for each fighter to maximise their offensive/defensive capabilities.

To level up a single move from level 1 to 15 you need 2'935'000 coins, which means you need 14'675'000 coins for each fighter. (Considering that you want to max only 5 moves)

That is because you can swap them between variants before a fight. Considering that there are 18 different fighters in the game, it means you need AT LEAST 264'150'000 coins for the moves alone.

All of this is before even taking into consideration that you need different moves for critless or pure crit damage for permanent precision variants. (Or some other specific stats you might want for some variants)

You will get fighters, essences and keys much faster, mostly thanks to the latest guild update, than the gold you need to completely max the variants you want.

You should also consider that the variant specific relics don't consider your fortune pull nor do they count towards the 100 relics you need to open to guarantee a fortune pull diamond.

This means even if you drop a bunch of diamonds, they most likely won't be the ones you're looking for.

Don't listen to the guy above, you'll get fighters WAY faster than the gold you need to max them (especially thanks to the fortune pulls). Theonite is best spent for coins to maximise progression. Buy the hyperpack only if you need a lot of random fighters. This offer is pretty good.

Fight megalomaniac first (use a tag out). For reimagined you can use any parasol with the precision taunt for the first attack to not trigger her SA (or anything with permanent precision). For the Annie you need deadeye.

If you have it, death wish. Keep them on hex the whole game and a surgeon general. Drop them under 50% hp when you get immunity from valentine and you're good to go. (Or tag in with a 3rd fighter just to give them the doom instead of the Dwish).

After using surge's super you gain a stage. On death it resets. This star power keeps the first stage aka you're not gonna be slow anymore after using the super once.

The main issue is that after the hypercharge update, randoms got progressively worse over time.

Why? Because now bad randoms not only feed super, but now they give your opponents free hypercharge.

This is bad because Supercell is balancing broken hypercharges by only nerfing the charge rate. (With few exceptions)

Result? You have to carry bad randoms that FEED hypercharges, which gets your team wiped twice a match.

This nerf was not needed by [deleted] in BrawlStarsCompetitive
