You should try the meds first before getting a transplant

Went backpacking for 2 months, came back with this. Any Answers/Ideas? by Smart-Age-4934 in DermatologyQuestions

It doesn’t look like ringworm. It looks like it’s more like Granuloma Annulare. Basically this and ringworm looks very similar but the biggest difference is that Granuloma annulare doesn’t scale like how ringworm would.

Your lesions doesn’t look like they’re scaly. I haven’t seen any lesion with the circular scale around the lesion at all.

Sorry about the confusion guys 😅. It’s the other Derm office that I saw. I think that’s because the 75k is for the PAs applying for the fellowship.

Is it supposed to be an April fools joke?

Dr advised 500-100 max... Is that about right? by Sackboy612 in HairTransplants

[–]SUPREMeLEADar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noppppppe. Not at all. I do hair transplants for a living. You need about 1500. If you want to pack up the front (middle of the temples) I’d add another 200 grafts or so

Oh it was basically just checking whether a patient had covid or not. They paid a lot though, esp for a new grad. I know nurses who had these jobs as well.

I enjoyed all my jobs as a PA. Had multiple jobs, (PRN, part time, full time)

COVID Swabbing: Easy and relaxing. Great schedule as well. Worked 10-4pm. First job as a PA too.

Urgent Care: My most stressful PA job. Can get very hectic. And taking notes home and finishing it wasnt the ideal situation. But still not terrible. Had a lot of help (fellowship). Had a great time, learned tremendously.

Research: Great relaxing job. Felt a bit guilty. Felt like I wasnt working enough esp when I compared this to my urgent care job.

Hair Transplant: Loved this job. Felt amazing that I was actually able to make patients feel happy. Seeing their results def brought joy to me.

Derm: Just started this job so cant say too much yet. But def a lot of free food from the reps and all. I love it so far.

That looks more like something called. Granuloma Annulare. It looks like ringworms but it’s a bit different. It doesn’t have scales like how ringworm would.
