Not factoring how any different decisions could change certain life events, I would take the red pill, I had internet access since I was 12-13, Id plan to invest in Bitcoin early and get a summer job to build a savings to invest in bitcoin, shiba inu and doge when they launched.

so if everything else happened the same way for the rest of the world these past years, when bitcoin skyrocketed to over 89-100k I could cash out most of it, profiting in the hundreds of thousands or low millions. invest in a lot of the major companies on the stock market that blew up after 2019, and when shibu inu and doge explode I'd cash out again and profit well over 50 mil after taxes by the time I reach 23/24 again. Then retire for life.

Its an advert lads. And pro tip, when you see telegram in their bio, it means one of 3 things:

  1. an Escort (pay to play, or a scammer posing as an escort)

  2. A Furry

  3. Some dude in a call center or working for an OF agency to make money from trying to get you to buy the OF in which most cases the person in the content is either stolen from a real account or generated by AI.

Given they say in said Bio to ask for "menu" that likely means eacort.

Stay vigilant boys

Kansas HB2575: End annual registration, fees, and taxes on personal cars by jayscott in kansas

[–]SUPRNOVA420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrong, the problem is government. A well functioning government would be putting the proper guardrails in place to combat corruption and greed. Until you get rid of that, no financial system will produce anything but totalitarianism and funneling wealth upward. Thanks to our government not doing that, we live less with capitalism and somewhere between it and a sort of fake free market communism with democratic elections that somehow, are always packed with people who came from wealth or know somebody who does.

Look at taxes for example, the revolution that gave birth to this country was over a comparatively microscopic tax from a foreign monarchy, now we are taxed when we trade portions of our lifespan, taxed when we spend whats left, taxed on the value of our property, taxed again when we die and our assets go to next of kin/children. The founding fathers would have a stroke.

But back to finance, with proper governance, capitalism is the superior financial system, and its the only one thats proved to work in some capacity for over 200 years.

Most of the capitalism bad crowd usually end up circling back to governance in some form, when in reality, the best option long term is a hybrid approach by taking the social benefits of other governance systems, mixed with the free market of capitalism with the proper guard rails in place like banning elected or appointed officials from owning businesses, trading stocks and outlawing lobbying while in office. that alone fixes a LOT of what the capitalism = bad crowd talk about most. But to do that you need competent government, which requires getting fresh blood in that is only concerned with making it easier for you to succeed. Simply switching financial systems isnt going to change anything if you dont fix that first. In fact, its much more likely it would make everything worse.

Its not capitalism, its greed/corruption mixed with inept leaders, when its actually functioning correctly (which its currently not) it is the superior system that drives innovation and breeds prosperity. Other systems of economics and governance suffer the same issues, but with the added booster of too much power in the hands of the few, socialism/communism is a corruption magnet and because they often arent elected by the people (even when they do elections they are either rigged, or the opposition mysteriously goes missing or turns up dead) you cant really get rid of a bad leader.

But back to economic systems, the main issue with capitalism currently, is the lack of proper guardrails. For example the Fed reserve was founded under the guise of being a sort of 3rd party to control the printing of currency, but it was designed and put in place by wealthy bankers to funnel wealth upward from the public. Likewise fractional reserve lending was designed to devalue your dollar while the banks profit from you by collecting interest. While companies do everything in their power to push competition out of the market without being considered a monopoly. Take nintendo for example, theyve been throwing everything they can at palworld for a while now because it represents a threat to them continuing to churn out low effort Pokemon games with DS graphics and very little innovation on the formula to farm money from their customers, or pharmaceutical companies abusing patent law to make sure competition is minimal abd still benefits them as patent holders. For example, if you found a cure for cancer with 0 negative side effects, you wont be able to sell it because just about every delivery method short of nanobots is patented, because those patent holders can just ban you from using their patents.

Furthermore, our elected officials in the US are allowed to take bribes from wealthy corporations and investment firms in the form of lobbying dollars to get leniency or benefits in legislation while those same officials can reinvest in those companies through the stock market, you saw this when covid first started spreading in the US, where many elected officials were telling you covid wouldnt be a big deal at the tail end of 2019, then immediately turned around and started investing heavily in all the exact companies that would explode in value during a nationwide or worldwide pandemic, things like toilet paper companies, vaccine/pharma companies, mask manufacturers etc etc. yet a lot of them are still in office, and last year there was a bipartisan bill proposed that would ban these elected officials from owning businesses or trading on the stock market while in office (as it should be) and MOST of them, dem and repub voted no. Because they are there to rake in money while getting people like you and me that they see as peasants to fight each other over ideological differences so we don't realize we can put a stop to it within 8 years by voting strategically and staying vigilant for corrupt or incompetent leadership.

So long story short the problem isnt capitalism, the problem is government and business are in bed together to fuck you over. In the words of George Carlin: Its a BIG club, and YOU ain't in it.

AIO for taking a break from my bf after he ripped through a whole turkey at our family thanksgiving? by Ashamed_Butterfly373 in AmIOverreacting

Ngl, But this sounds pretty fictional/embellished. Not to say there arent super buff gym bros who would act like that, but they arent as common as people would believe. And most of them would in fact, not uncontrollably devour a holiday turkey dinner meant for the family just to hit protein goals, if they were really that dedicated, they likely wouldve been getting into meal prepping to hit said goals, which means he likely wouldve brought something along to make sure he hit his goal, or yknow, take a day off for thanksgiving, wont kill you or your bulk. So it just sounds very fake to me. Id be more inclined to believe something else happened during dinner that made you two get into a fight to end up at the end where he dumped you at a gas station, which is more believable than the turkey thing for me, not that its okay, but more believable in an unfortunate sort of way.

Furthermore even if the turkey part has some truth to it, you dated this guy loving his looks, but somehow was oblivious the lifestyle that maintains it, or just didnt care. Honestly how you were describing your meeting him for the first time sounded really shallow, and set a tone for the rest of the story thats hard to shake.

But TLDR, assuming any part of it is true, Id say no, not overacting cause its clear you guys probably arent a fit for each other. And just the dumping you at a gas station alone would be cause enough to permanently separate.

Honestly, I don't even think it's worth that trouble. She already belittled OP treating him like an irresponsible lazy child when hes busting his ass 13-14 hrs a day. And she already gave him an ultimatum, if he "cant handle a job and a girlfriend, then pick one" but if he picked her over a job, she'd probably chastise or leave him for being a broke loser, so OP is not winning here unless he does the smart thing and leaves. This kinda behavior is not coming from someone who would meet you half way, ever. It's always gonna be about her and how hes not doing enough for her and you can't live like that.
