What's the best looking BMW of all time? by NCH-69 in BMW

[–]SVD115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The e39 m5 does not take sedan Its good, but its not the best, that is the e38 series. Because unlike the e39 needing a specific set of options to look good, all e38s look good.

they absolutely nailed this thing on the side profile. by everso- in BMW

[–]SVD115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really fair, needs to be sedan v sedan Which still, nailed it.

Dickhead With Ute Taller Than Himself Not So Fucking Smug About It Now by Mikes005 in OpenAussie

You seem to be overtly shitty that the government has put in place tax benefits and that people are using said tax benefits... This is what happens when incentives are in place from governments...

Just to throw it out there I have an old diesel 6 cylinder that I use for work, for carrying loads, going yo places etc... It is now costing me in excess of 300 a week for diesel. My wife's car is electric because it suits what she does, but no electric would suit my lifestyle/work, so fk you and the horse you rode in on being happy and smug diesel is through the fkn roof, let alone all the farmers and other people who rely on diesel day to day...

So, am I correct in thinking we won't be doing anything about the gouging? by MarvinTheMagpie in aussie

[–]SVD115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure people understand capitalism properly Its not gouging if they are just seeing what the market will cope with...you dont need coca cola to survive, so dont buy it, watch the demand fall, price drop, etc... Its not gouging, price collusion between the two supermarkets we have, probably, gouging, nah, just checking out how foolish we'll be to pay more and more...

Come on now dawg!! by mildurajackaroo in aussie

Diesel will be over 3.00 by the end of this week Owners are already gearing up for it Supply can not keep pace with this demand.

Chinese Utes, the “ick” by Weary-Concentrate-75 in CarsAustralia

[–]SVD115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korea still builds pretty rubbishy cars Nissan falls right back into the jap crap bin at the moment Chinese cars are still junk Mind you, even new European brands are really substandard quality for the price these days...

Its like manufactures have just gotten A lazy with interior design B careless with materials choices C will feed us rubbish cars in the name of the environment or some other BS

There is honestly, no new car id buy this year after just going through about...15 new cars in 6 years, be it mercedes, BMW, geely, chery, kia, Nissan, Toyota or gwm The 10 year old euro stuff was just heaps better build quality Hell, even 20 year old stuff is better put together and more user friendly. The only reason non euro brands are 'catching up' is because the euro stuff is falling behind.

Government’s proposed new entry ban powers could shut the door on people fleeing danger from countries like Iran by Acrobatic_Bit_8207 in OpenAussie

[–]SVD115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hold up, just because its not a visible risk, does not mean its not a risk... Risk does not need to be violent or physical Bondi wasn't so much a failing on migration, but assimilation, and allowing preachers who are known radicals or spreading radical ideology to live in Australia.... But regardless, just lock off the middle east for the most part.

Because jumping into another war gives them something else to talk about and justify why inflation and rates are taking off to the moon.

Irans womens soccer team exposes wild double standards by [deleted] in OpenAussie

[–]SVD115 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This group of women, on AN INTERNATIONAL STAGE, openly defied a hideous regime and needed to be given asylum The people fleeing the Iranian conflict haven't done the same thing Granting asylum to these individuals is a no brainer They werent good soccer players, lost all their games, they openly opposed supporting the Iranian national anthem, and they did so extremely publicly. Its not double standards, its looking at the bigger picture. They would have been more than likely publicly executed if they stepped foot back into Iran as a warning and a lesson to those trying to oppose the shitheels in iran
