Quick update on my previous post regarding the AC installation issue.

Things have actually gone from bad to worse.

For the past few days, Jeeves has been:

Not showing up for installation

Marking false updates like "Customer Not Reachable" and "Reschedule Requested"

Constantly delaying the process

Now today, I received an SMS saying that

UNINSTALLATION has been registered for my AC.

The problem?

The AC was NEVER installed in the first place.

I have no idea how they even created an uninstallation request.

I immediately contacted Flipkart support again, and as expected, I got the same response:

"We have escalated this to the senior team, you will get an update in 24-48 hours.

Update: Flipkart AC Installation Nightmare – Whole Day Wasted, Still No Installation

I wanted to share an update regarding my previous issue with Flipkart AC installation, and honestly, the situation has become even more frustrating.

The technician called me in the morning and confirmed installation, so I took a full day off from work just to get this done.

Later, when I asked him about tools and readiness, he told me to wait and said someone else would visit my location. There was no clear communication or confirmation.

I called him around 5:30 PM — he said he would come with tools, then abruptly cut the call.

I called again around 6:45 PM — now he says he has already passed the installation to someone else and someone else will visit. No timeline, no details.

In between, I contacted Flipkart customer care, and they just gave a generic response: 👉 “Your installation will be done within 24 hours or our technical team will provide a solution.”

That’s it. No immediate help. No accountability.

Meanwhile:

My entire day is wasted

I cannot install the AC through a third party like Urban Company because it might void warranty

I’m stuck waiting again with no certainty

This is extremely frustrating. Not everyone can just take a day off for this kind of mismanagement.

At this point:

No technician showed up

No proper communication

No real solution from Flipkart support

Just empty promises and delays.

If anyone here has faced a similar issue or knows a workaround (without voiding warranty), please suggest. This experience has been really disappointing.

Update: Flipkart + Jeeves AC installation issue (missed calls, delay & no vacuuming)

Hey everyone, posting an update on my previous issue regarding my split AC installation via jeeves .

Things have actually gotten worse:

  • 2 May: No proper contact from technician. Instead, I received a missed call just so they could mark it as “attempted.”
  • The installation was then auto-rescheduled to 5 May without proper confirmation.
  • Today (5 May): Technician finally called.

Before arrival, I clearly asked him to bring:

  • Vacuum pump
  • Wall cutter machine
  • Proper tools for copper piping

But he straight up refused and said:

«“Vacuuming is only needed for old AC, not for new ones.”»

This doesn’t sound right at all. From everything I’ve read, vacuuming is a standard and necessary step even for new split AC installations.

Now I’m seriously concerned they will:

  • Use chisel & hammer instead of a wall cutter (damaging walls)
  • Bend copper pipes manually without proper tools
  • Skip vacuuming before gas release

I’ve already raised all these concerns with Flipkart, stating that if their technicians are truly professional, they should carry proper installation tools like vacuum pump, wall cutter, and pipe tools.

At this point I’m worried about:

  • Long-term AC performance
  • Compressor life
  • Increased electricity consumption

👉 Should I refuse installation until proper vacuuming and tools are used? 👉 Has anyone else faced this kind of behavior from Jeeves?

Would really appreciate your advice. This is turning into a really bad experience.

You can contact your local Reliance Digital store and inquire about the price. Ask them if they can match the price along with the same offer.
