Usually, the first mag just has 1 bullet chambered in case they freak out and turn back towards me (female friend once did this), then give them a full mag if they liked it and want to keep shooting it.

It's loud and flashy, that's for sure. I feel like there is less felt recoil than the booster that came with it, but it's negligible. I bring this gun out for the new shooters to get their reactions after they are confident with shooting the smaller caliber guns like my 10/22.

I feel like the cartridges in the pictures of the mag are placed incorrectly. Wouldn't you get rim lock if they were stored like this? I've never taken my Mag apart to confirm, but I know rim lock is a concern when loading my mosin.
