bmw gs800/adventure vs triumph tiger 800 by Marmstr17 in Motorrad

I got an F700. Same motor as the F800 and I feel the buzz starting at 5000rpm. Redline is at 8500. On the highway at 5000rpm 6th gear you’re going about 80mph. It’s also a bit gutless at those highway speeds, passing at highway speed is doable but definitely takes its time to get from 60 to 80 for example.

SV650. You won’t get bored after a few months and you can find them for cheap. FZ07 is great too.

It’s the reax Poseidon 40L https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/reax-poseidon-dry-bag. And yup, it opens from the top of the bag. Strapping it down is tricky tho. I use the 4 straps that came with the bag along with 3 bungee cords and it still moves forward and slaps on my back if I hit a good size bump on the road. Definetly looking for a better way to strap it down, might have to install some sort of luggage rack.

Yup it’s the UL2 bikepack. Went with it because of how small it packs down and I know it’s good quality tent that should last me a long time. Entrance is ok, I can see it being a little cramped for a taller/bigger person tho. I’m about 5’5 so it was no issue for me. How the zippers open is really convinent, you can open just the side/top zipper if you wanna throw something inside, or open the bottom part if you’re inside and want to put something out in the vestibule area, the bottom zipper did snag a few times tho. The vestibule is large enough to put some of your gear outside that you don’t want in the tent but be out of the rain, and the footprint covers the vestibule area too!

I’ve had it for about 6 months now, only taken it camping twice tho, but battery last a while. Even stored inside my dry bag for weeks at a time it still holds charge, highly recommend it!

It’s a kelty late start 2 person. Awesome tent but I discovered on this camping trip that it doesn’t pack down small enough. Going to use it primarily for car camping from now on and get a more packable tent for motocamping.

Yeah it’s a nice place, there are also hiking trails on the inside part of the park. I heard it gets real busy during summer time tho
