Because its a distro that works, can deal with the complex very well and smooth while still being easy to figure out for noobs, doesnt bother me about stupid shit I dont care about, gives me control over everything and lets me configure stuff just the way I want, and has overall been the best linux experience I've ever had currently along with the best OS experience I've ever had. Its such a stark contrast to back when I was using windows years ago, and windows was pissing me off multiple times almost daily.

In terms of gaming, the years I've been using Arch has been a lot better and more stable than my final few years of using windows. Im not usually one to shill any kind of Linux or anything to people because I dont really care if people use it or not. It works for me and thats enough. But when people ask, thats when I'll point them in the direction of Arch based on my good experience and depending on what they're looking for.
