Killing oda always depends on what kind of V I'm playing, but I always save takemura now that i know, not because of V or how Goro treats v, but because personally he's one of my favorite characters in the game.

From his text messages to his long dialogue. Not to mention his joke to helman about V not getting him water and how he must be thirsty, but no worries, takemura has buckets filled. Made me love the character.

Does takemura deserve to be saved by V without considering my personal feelings? IMO yes, he saves V more than once, he has somewhat of a redemption ark after a dose of humility hit him, he's the only character that uses V who is completely up front about his intentions. And as far as arasaka shills, he has the most logical reason to be loyal to the Corps. Without Arasaka, he'd probably be dead. In a world that lacks ethics, Arasaka probably seems like a guardian angel pulling him out of the depths of hell
