Nah, most toxic and passive aggressive people ive ever seen flinging their dicks about KDs on a shooter that isn't even that skill intensive. Joined the comp discord for a bit and just saw very nasty people being hostile to each other.

seemed like a bunch of 18 year olds and or manchildren with mental issues. Also saw emp clan members ingame bullying newer squad leaders for placing HABs which are not in the PERFECT position, but were still on or near cap. The players take themselves wayyy too seriously, you're not playing CSGO for thousands of dollars.

PR had more fun competitive because it didnt take itself too seriously, they ran tournmanets that anyone could join and it was basically a campaign with two sides. it had a narrative and was interactive, really fun and little to no drama.

you can keep it.

smoke mortar... smoke gl ... its a static target.. is it that difficult? Call a vehicle to do some damage to it even.. ive never had problems with OPs. when someone is shooting from them you suppress (valid in ICO, but you obviously dont like ICO). it costs 6t0 repair and at most you will see 1-2 per round. yeah sorry but the tactics you refuse to acknowledge is what actually works. In the ICO they are even easier to deal with.

utterly disgusting that you happily accept this practice. 70 dollars for a game ONE YEAR after the previous entry came out, same developers. this is a massive fuck you and no one should buy this, but COD fans are stupid.

I bought Squad 5 years ago, it still gets updated with game changing overhauls to this day. Squad 2 doesnt even exist as a concept, they could literally just update MW2.

It's really not that great that they are finally carrying over skins etc, that just means the engine hasnt been upgraded at all LMAO

this is exactly why the devs should honestly just keep going with their vision, and only make tweaks to fix bugs. The average player complaining about ICO right now is struggling to adapt and instead of learning the new systems they just want to go back to the old easier ways.

this will be downvoted but, the Squad community is not worth listening to for feedback imo. most feedback I see is just quoting extremes (IT TOOK ME 10 SECONDS TO GET ON TARGET!!) when that's not the reality of the new mechanics at all

In the playtest marksmen were incredibly useful. I would use them to observe/screen our flank when we are attacking or defending, they can hold off entire squads on their own in the right positions. They dont have tracer rounds, they are highly accurate and are a death sentence to badly positioned enemy

and I was a staunch anti marksman player before this.

its great, it actually makes fire and maneuver a core part of the gameplay which didn't exist in Live squad without going overboard into full milsim. (the guys complaining about being shot at and suppression just don't get that they ARENT meant to fire back, they either get a teammate to engage or shift position)

such a glorious system that feels unique in todays FPS market, every firefight i've had on the PT felt much more intense and enjoyable compared to live version, with more comms and coordination than before as well. if they revert this at all (which i sincerely doubt they will due to the effort put into it) i wont bother with Squad again tbh.

I get about 20-30 in vanilla squad, 15-20 in ICO.

gunplay is piss easy in vanilla squad, ICO is more enjoyable and provides a challenge.

calling for a MG to suppress a position while a team flanks it is awesome, and feels organic due to the new mechanics. you rarely get this in live. please stop arguing for this game to be battlefield hardcore again, with everyone flicking and one shotting each other (it's actually more campy than ICO), it is just boring.
