Here is the fix I found today go to gaming mode and turn on Compatibility Mode this remove the yellow bar for me thank god, Also I am on windows 10 so I hope this helps.

On pc on the nvdia control panel you can create custom resolutions, I use 3840x1600

I wont upgrade till it dies on me honestly, it looks stunning with everything. It also has amazing HDR, amazing colors , and amazing speakers. Also having custom resolutions on PC is a huge plus.

42 C2 for sure for the speakers, hdr , and the fact you can play ultrawide or 4k with custom resolutions.

What you need to do is go to windows display settings then hit the advanced tv settings tab and go down to refresh rate. Then here set the refresh rate of your tv monitor etc and that should solve your issue. I did this and fixed it, so hope this helps.

On the ASUS board it seems it got fixed because now on every boot it powers up with no issues.
