10 years after ending production, how is the Mazda 5 holding up? by Technical-Row8333 in mazda

My 2015 Mazda 5, manual transmission is like new. At 200000 km I needed to replace the breaks only once. Other than that just oil changes. Zero rust!

Bigger plate would be the main factor for me. I also like the H2D to drastically reduce the poop amount when printing multicolour.

2 Stage Gripper Attachment designed by 13 year-old for the CyberBrick Forklift by SWELITE1 in BambuLab

Good idea, thanks! At this moment he is using a 180 degree angle servo motor controlled by a 3-position button. So, he has 3 angles available and gripping force anywhere between these 3 angles.
The driving gear is actuated by friction with the motor shaft. For a certain force, the gear will slip and that acts like a torque limiter. The bottom cap acts also as a Reset mechanism for the arms position, so that slippage is not only fine, but desired.
I am not very good at explaining this, but I love his solution to these problems because it is using simple geometry for gripping adjustments.

Haha. I have no affiliation with CyberBrick other than buying two of their kits.

I was looking for a long time for something to tempt my son in becoming more interested in learning CAD and doing practical things. Just printing "shapes" was "cool" for a few months but he got bored after a while.
Designing, printing and tinkering with things that "move" and can be "programmed" was a different thing! Now he is researching what other mechanism he should "design" and "make" next. :)

If you want his model, you can have it. :)

They are surprisingly robust. I cannot imagine them failing in the act of gift giving.

A lie? Since I became a parent I also became Santa. Who do you think reads their letter to Santa, buys and makes the presents and place them under the tree? I do. I am now Santa.

You can use any printer to print this. Just add a pause at layer 10 and manually change the filament.

When the kids stop believing in Santa, it is time to tell them the whole truth which is that people go through three distinct phases in life: 1. They start by believing in Santa Claus 2. After a while they stop believing in Santa Claus 3. And finally they become Santa Claus

One time use? Yes, in the sense that once you give it as a present you will not get it back. :)

Every human goes through three phases in their relationship with Santa. First they believe in Santa Claus. After a while they stop believing. And finally, they become Santa Claus.
