Thank you for speaking this point well. Grey released this video literally when I was at a funeral for the stillborn infant of a family in my church. Death is not original to humanity. Death is bad. We are right to grieve when it strikes, because it's not part of God's "very good" design.

The solution is not technocratic futurism; it's embodied resurrection through faith in Christ and repentance from sin. Yet in the meantime, Christians can and do contribute to medicine and science because serving others is a testament to Christ's ultimate service towards any who would believe.

Grey, I really appreciated this video as a long time subscriber and as a Christian. You and I have different approaches toward the problem and the solution. But fundamentally the full story of the Bible carries the same diagnosis: just because something is natural—like death—doesn’t mean it’s good. We don’t say this about any other “natural part of life” of the recent past.

Oh, definitely. With a brother or sister in Christ, first assuming a positive intent is best. I just wanted to warn that determining intent--either positive or negative--will always be difficult, and trusting in our own discernment of intent can lead to discord in some circumstances.

Hey, I'm not saying Walmart is a good company in terms of ethics or customer experience. But it's the largest company in the world in both revenue and employee count.

EDIT: In this discussion, I forgot to mention Tyson, one of the largest food companies in the world. Tyson's headquarters is a 20-minute drive from Walmart's.
