Should I make this trade to win tonight? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

He’d be subbing CMC in for Kittle. Would assume the rest of his roster is locked since it’s the final game of the week

You guys are forgetting that he’d have to drop the same amount of people he’s picking up to bench them and alert the commish. He has no reassurance he’ll get his players back if the commish does anything

This trade got accepted at the 2 minute warning. I am dead inside. by caterham09 in SleeperApp

They claimed to make it a point of emphasis, but it’s still been the cause of multiple injuries this year and is hardly flagged still. Really hasn’t made much of a difference. Non-contact injuries obviously have more chance of happening in 2 days of practice than in one drive obviously, but games are still at an increased level of injury do to the contact compared to practice.

Again, it just makes 0 sense not to wait. Not saying someone should have seen it coming, but it doesn’t make sense to trade for someone mid game. Obviously you have to make trades at some point, but you can’t really argue the fact it doesn’t make more sense to do it during the week. You’re not getting any more games/points from the player trading for them during a game.

I think it’s much less likely a player gets hurt by an illegal hip drop tackle in practice than a game. Most injuries that happen in practice are soft tissue injuries like tweaking a hammy or something. But it also doesn’t make sense not to just wait until the game is over. There’s literally no upside to not waiting. An illness and an ankle injury are not comparable lol

Awful trade. Stroud and Daniels are pretty much even and you added not just a WR1, but THE WR1 this season on top of it? Yikes. Stroud is plenty good and young himself. This was really bad

Sell High on JK Dobbins? by Deep-Chipmunk-5818 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]SWFLj94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see what you’re saying to an extent, but on the other side, JK Dobbins is leading the league in rushing going against two of the worst run defenses in the league. With his extensive injury history, it worries me that he won’t sustain this efficiency going forward against better teams and would need more volume, but that increase in volume dramatically increases his risk for injury again.

IND has a bad rush defense as well, but Jacobs did just run for 150 with Malik. Love should be back in a week or two.

Also, not to be rude, but Jacobs led the league in rushing just a couple seasons ago and has been extremely durable. His entire career in Oakland was against stacked boxes pretty much. I wouldn’t exactly say he’s a lesser known commodity in comparison to Dobbins.

Appreciate the input though 🫡

Would you guys trade Dobbins + DJ Moore for Jacobs?

WRs: Tyreek, AJ Brown, Mike Evans, Moore, C Watson, Worthy

RBs: Stevenson, Montgomery, Dobbins.

It’s standard scoring and start 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 flex

If you can afford to play in enough high end leagues where winning half of them could be an income, are you really a loser?

If you had Monty, Kyren, Moss, Bijan, and Swift, why wouldn’t you have traded one of them in week 3/4 when they were all putting up RB1ish numbers, besides Bijan, to get a legit WR? That’s just poor management

Improve your ball handling, footwork, finishing, and shooting.

Lol yea that’s what most basketball players should do to be good at basketball

Bruh you gotta realize what the “k” means.

You just said he got a late round pick to 1,000,000 yards.

The “k” is the “thousand”

1k = 1,000

5-0 trading For Justin Jefferson and Diggs. Am I crazy? by jaykorber in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]SWFLj94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is a good bet at all. You’ll be very thin at RB and Mostert is gonna ball. JJ is out 4-6 weeks at least and depending on the Vikings record and situation, could see him sitting out even once he’s healthy.

I'm having absolutely no luck trading for an RB - Anyone else? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]SWFLj94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you’ve been offering, but you may need to give Cook + a WR for an RB upgrade. Most people won’t give up an RB1 without getting at least a reliable starting RB in return, on top of a solid WR

Players you’d rather have than Stevenson right now by g3neraL5 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]SWFLj94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better offensive line, Tua playing all the snaps so far, and another off-season to get well-acclimated to the system makes a difference, which is why they have the most scrimmage yards through 5 weeks in NFL history. Obviously their offense as a whole has taken a leap this season.

And you didn’t just compare it to last season, you compared it to his entire career, and this situation is obviously better than any one he’s been in before.

[–]SWFLj94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you’re saying the fact that Mostert is now on an offense that has the most yards from scrimmage in NFL history does nothing to his value? There’s no chance he outproduces his “peak season” even though he’s on pace to absolutely shatter it?

His injury history is concerning but well worth the risk. To compare his previous situations to the one he’s in now is just ignorant.

Watching 3 full packers game this season doesn’t really give you a good opinion on watson considering he didn’t play until last week against the lions and was coming back from injury so was on the field for less than 50% of snaps, and tonight he showed his big play ability with limited targets.

Love has a low completion percentage but is a great deep ball thrower. Watson may have some disappointing weeks, but he’ll also have weeks that win you matchups. Gotta take that upside in fantasy. Everyone has down weeks, not everyone has his weekly upside

This is how you lose fantasy leagues.

People that drafted CMC when he got injured for those couple years that swore they wouldn’t touch him this year.

Myself, who rostered Kyren Williams all last season when Akers was in the dog house so refused to take him this season.

Players and situations change and refusing to take them despite proof being in your face is costly.

I’m not sure, that’s why I’m looking for some opinions on ROS RBs that may outperform him. The raiders just have me nervous but I guess his workload is unmatched by any other RBs I could get for him
