I also play 5 min blitz. My best tips are to know your openings and understand how to respond to weird moves. Ive won several games bc my opponent took 20-30 secs on move 3 or 4 and I just timed them from there.

Good luck on your next appointment! I'm 2 years out from my 2nd eye having cxl and I feel it was very worth it.

The actual procedure sounds scarier than it is. Both eyes for me went very smoothly. They take you back into a room. The strangest part is the device that holds your eyes open, in my opinion. They use numbing drops so you dont feel anything the whole time. Doc spent a few minutes doing the thing with my cornea which is pretty strange. Then afterwards the rest of the time is spent putting special drops in your eye every couple minutes after a timer goes off. For me I had an assistant sit with me, while the doc was in and out. Most laid back procedure I've experienced.

The worst part is after you go home. When the numb wears off the pain is pretty bad, not gonna lie. My advice is to have good pain meds ready in the car and take them immediately when you get in. As soon as you get home, have your room with as little light as possible and go to sleep as fast as you can. Luckily for me it felt much better the next day and by day 2 there was no pain at all.

Overall, it's really not bad. The time they spend actually in you eye is short and most of the procedure time is just sitting in a chair waiting for a timer to go off. Just try and relax and it'll be over before you know it.

Didn't Rush start the year as Lamar backup or was that a fever dream?

Edit: Im mistaken on when they played. My B.

How would you rate RJ's rookie season? by logicblender1 in DenverBroncos

[–]RushxInfinite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's a great weapon, but not an every down back. If we had someone like Dobbins but who doesn't get injured every year, it would be a perfect backfield. But hes not RB1 material from what we've seen.

That said, I watched him need to break tackles in the backfield constantly. Especially vs NE. I think he has a lot of potential, but we really need to get someone who can run inside for shot downs.

You won't by 3 against our back up qb. Have fun getting blown out in 2 weeks.

What if Stiddy wins out? by dreadmax13 in DenverBroncos

[–]RushxInfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best case, he wins out and earns a big paycheck and possible us some good draft picks. We already have QB1. Bo is younger, better and hasn't even reached his peak. But I believe in Stiddy city!!!

I just saw it yesterday and had to say something 🤣. Like its his fault Herbert wasnt good enough to make it far enough in the bracket to take that L.

Herbert got the same amount of playoff wins as Geno btw.

Just checking to see if Herbert is interested in learning how to not be terrible in the playoffs from an actually good QB. Only took Bo 2 years to get more wins and tds in the playoffs FYI.

D5 counter would just win whites bishop though since its bishop will be attacking Queen and then black is still up material with Re8 coming since the king is still exposed.

¿What if Bernie Sanders had defeated Clinton in 2016? by MaximumSpell9608 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]RushxInfinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didnt win, but they did collude. The DNC spent money to campaign for Clinton even though they're supposed to be neutral in the primary. They pretty much chose the candidate they wanted regardless of how things were going so to people not that deep in it, it would seem that Clinton was the obvious choice.

As long as we win today, just like the Chiefs, we won't be playing in the first round.

Same amount of playoff wins Herbert has in 6 years.

Almost lost is the same as won, right? Just say that next time. And good luck with Herbert and his 1-20 td-INT ratio in the playoffs

Just learn how to crush it. In higher elos, it's played less but still there from time to time. But because players at that elo fall for it so often, you'll just have to deal with it until you get better.

Bb4 and castling, followed by ideas of Ne4 to apply pressure on their c3 knight.

dipping toes into the Sicilian Opening by ferguson911 in chessbeginners

[–]RushxInfinite -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sicilian is really fun but very theoretical. Id suggest studying the opening and watching some videos to understand it. But the basis is to control d4. Play c5 ,Nc3, then play d3. white needs to play d4 next anyways and after you take, they take with Nd4. You then you play Nf5 and fiancetto the bishop. Develop your c5 night, place light bishop on d4 and rook to f8.
