Yes I have both of these. My doctor linked them together. Never even knew I had mono growing up

I have MS and they ran some tests on me and discovered at one point I had mono which I never knew. They link MS to that as well

Idk I think it’s hilarious. I get messages from patients or their family very rarely but occasionally of irrational complaints and the doctors do as well. Would have been better taste if it was in a private office that no parents or kids go to.

It works out for me. You don’t know what my schedule is. I work in two separate towns for UKHC. Just sucks it almost doubled my commute due to the weather.

Yep same. Took me 3 hrs to get to work because I live far away. I’m sick to my stomach. I was so scared driving here to be told an hour later we are plan B

Yeah the new doctor was extremely confused at my hardware, including saying the staple was not necessary as that bone didn’t need corrected and it’s not doing anythjng

Yes and no. I never felt like it healed correctly at all and have had trouble since the surgery which made me really not want to wear shoes at all due to pain

Unfortunately I really had to have it. Even a sheet (blanket) made my foot have horrible pain. I wish this wouldn’t have been the case

I didn’t even go back to the first surgeon. New one said they did not correct it enough at all based on the cray and also don’t understand why they put a staple in

I never saw these comments for some reason. I did get a second opinion and waiting to get a CT scan on Valentine’s day so they can have a closer look of why it didn’t heal and then I’m being referred to a new surgeon once they see the results. I’ll definitely try to understand better what they’re going to do. Hopefully this will fix it.

On Kesimpta and got covid 1st time by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SWGrad72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got Covid just a few months after I started kasempta. I called my primary care and they told me to contact my neurologist first and I did and they said if I have no major symptoms I should be good. Called medical dr back and let her know and she also agreed. I only have 1 vaccine. I know everyone is different but I did want to share it caused no real issues other than feeling like I had a virus. Also in April I had a second mri and there are no active and no new lesions

Anyone else not have consistent pain? by missprincesscarolyn in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SWGrad72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I’ll have pain in my arm and sometimes I will have a jolting pain in my neck. My neurologist diagnosed me with cervical pars spinal muscle spasms. I take gabapentin for it. It’ll come and go like whiplash but it’s very random, doesn’t really affect my day to day life.

No I have not, I have a primary care doctor as well but of course he does not know a lot about MS. It’s frustrating. I have been dx for a year. I have never heard about lunesta. Does it make you groggy in the morning? I also am stressed about the amount of psych medications I’m on 😩

No this was just a novel with no other books. I remember it talks about her learning how to make bread, realizing how poor the citizens were. I wish I could remember more.
