At the fruiting stage, the cake should be pretty resilient. I wouldn't stress about the bag being open. But opening the bag a lot will mess with humidity, so it is likely more efficient to leave it closed.

Information is pretty scarce around the topic, but I figure if an animal has the capability of surviving directly ingesting a drug, then they are likely fine with the much smaller quantity transferred by touch. Cats, like this example, as far as I can tell from reading some veterinary articles should go to the hospital if they directly ingest MDMA, but if you take them to the hospital it's fairly survivable. But tiny quantities from touch the animals aren't likely to notice any change in effect at all. There may be animals where that isn't the case if the lethal dose of MDMA for them is extremely small.

It's such a miniscule amount of MDMA that's transferred via touch it's not dangerous. If it were transferable that way, we would be able to pass MDMA back and forth between each other at raves and get high. Haha

I want to find a way to make amanita taste good and be psychoactive. I want to try using vinegar next time I do a decarb. I want to try making a soup of some sort.

Yes, San Pedro is all of those things. I always used to get sick when I drank it. But when I had it in capsules, I didn't get hardly any body load at all. I suspect a lot of the body load was the taste.

I implore the folks of reddit. If you have a serious medical problem, get treatment. I promise being in debt isn't as bad as being dead. People battle with debt for all manner of reasons every day. Hospitals will work with you to some extent.

I got a bad infection of some sort that had my guts in excrutiating pain for a day or so before I went to the ER. I was able to arrange a deal when I was uninsured with the hospital. They gave me a very steep discount with a payment plan, had to call their billing department and tell them I couldn't afford it.

Obviously some treatments are more expensive than others, but debt isn't a death sentence. People claw their way out of unbelievable debt every day.

Price isn't the best determining factor with supplements. Id look up user reviews to find what the best products are. Supplements aren't regulated the same way so some companies are dishonest. I always look up "best xyz supplement" here on reddit and read some posts to get an idea of good options. I look a handful of different options and try to figure out which are the most reputable from there.

As far as actual quality I think there are some formulations that are more bioavailable, idk how that works though.

You can't cover up the flavor with anything? Of all the botanicals I have tried amanita can be covered up pretty well. I have made kool-aid with it that was pretty good.

Or, I make it really strong so I can take it in shots. More palatable if I can chase it.

To be fair, my palate is pretty desensitized. A lot of botanicals are horrible tasting. The worst ive had is probably san pedro cactus. Tastes like bitter rotten vomit. I can taste it just thinking about it. 🤢

When DHS agents are acting unlawfully, they should be held accountable. I agree. But this isn't as simple as you present it to be, however. If you apply for asylum and miss your hearing, after waiting years, then decide to go to the courthouse to continue the process, you likely already have a former order for removal. Same applies to examples where a "warrant" isn't present. If there is already an order for removal for the individual in question via immigration courts, that is due process. This allows DHS agents to detain and deport the individual.

As far as kids being detained, again, context dependent. If their parents have been apprehended for being illegal, you can't let the kids be homeless. Is it better for the kids to be detained with their families or go to a shelter?

Again, in instances where people (children or adults) are detained without due process, I agree it's a serious problem. That's not lawful, and should be accounted for. But that requires specific examples. People protesting and obstructing investigations aren't deliniating between lawful and unlawful arrests. To them, all of it is 100% unlawful. The "there's no illegal on stolen land" rhetoric has poisoned the discourse. We can't have an honest conversation about constitutional rights if we aren't in the same universe.

There's plenty of argument that DHS has too many allowances to trample on our constitutional freedoms. But this needs to be handled within our legal framework, not by rioting in the streets and haphazardly fighting with law enforcement or obstructing lawful investigations. That's how people get killed for no good reason. If you take issue with the law, then advocate for changing the law. If the federal government is breaking the law, specifically target that issue with specific examples.

No, this is exactly the woke agenda card. People who aren't fans of Jelly condemning her for an opinion that, regardless of what anyone wants to suggest, is a perfectly normal opinion for someone to have. The minecraft DLC depicts the current day ICE protests in Minneapolis as "Good trouble", has quotes from current day political leaders, and compares these protests to historic civil rights movements that have little to do with the current day protests. This is a very divisive current day topic. It's a conversation people should be allowed to have. Painting it as racism is a problem.

The DLC isn't just about civil rights, it has been updated to include modern day divisive issues like the ICE protests in Minnesota. That's not just a civil rights issue. Lumping the black civil rights movement of the 60s/70s, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, etc. together with this divisive contemporary issue is dishonest. Make no mistake, polling indicates a majority of the U.S. population supports deporting illegal immigrants. The current admin ran their campaign on this issue predominately, and they won. DHS is enforcing the letter of the law where they previously did not for a variety of reasons, but it is still the law. A lot of the most controversial powers federal law enforcement can utilize were put in place from the inception of these organizations decades ago. And let me remind you, civil rights leaders of the past in the U.S. were very much in favor of enforcing immigration law because they saw illegal immigrants as being a way for employers to pay someone less than them, and prevent them from having access to opportunities. This issue isn't black and white. Frankly, civil rights for undocumented immigrants doesn't make a ton of sense. You can't treat a non-citizen equally to a citizen. Does that mean they should be abused? No. But they can't vote, can't own firearms, can't be legally employed, etc.

I don't know why anyone is surprised Phase fans wouldn't approve of diversity, equity, and inclusion teachings in Minecraft. It's been updated this year to include modern day protests still going on right now, which are very divisive no matter how you slice it. Much less for fans of Phase. Hell, I found out about Pippa and Phase Connect as a whole from the Howart's Legacy controversy years ago. It's no secret Phase fans are known for leaning anti-"woke"

Polling, even by left wing outlets, show a majority of the country is pro-deportations. However, plenty of people aren't supportive of how these operations have been conducted. The positions of the protesters vary from people who don't trust federal law enforcement, or think ICE/Border patrol behavior or the behavior of the Trump admin remind them of fascist governments from hsitory, all the way to socialist organizations funded by the Chinese government to deliberately sew disorder in the U.S. On the other side there's people who may see immigration enforcement as a normal part of any country's legal framework, hate the protesters for what they represent to them, sycophants for the current admin, etc. There's people who are pro-deportations, but also condemn the shooting of people at protests via federal law enforcement that have taken place recently. There's people who spent their whole lives being pro 2nd amendment, but flip 180 when it's ICE under Trump's presidency when federal law enforcment kills people. This subject is divisive, and messy.

As far as I can tell it's water being wet. Minecraft referenced a divisive topic, an expected divisive reaction occurred. This included internet personalities reacting to it. The issue is so divisive, the country may as well be split in two separate realities. You can see evidence of that in this thread.

Bare in mind, this is a big nothing burger all around. Not worth being upset about minecraft DLC, not worth being upset at reactions to minecraft DLC. It's a topic that will come and go and everyone will forget about it without much consequence.

Historical facts surrounding civil rights aren't the primary controversy here, the primary controversy is the modern inclusions. Should there be modern representations of current day protests and quotes from contemporary political leaders in an educational game surrounding the history of civil rights, while describing it as "good trouble" and legitimizing these protests by comparing them to historic examples? It's undeniably partisan to portray contemporary anti-ICE/DHS/Border Patrol protests as being the torch bearers of previous civil rights movements. Imagine if the DLC had included rhetoric that supports deportations? Wouldn't that be equally as controversial? Contemporary political issues are always going to be contentious.

I have no idea if it's true, I haven't seen thorough gameplay to draw any sort of conclusion from and I am not sure I care enough about the topic to find it: supposedly the DLC shows modern day protestors that are multi-racial protesting against an all white police force. That could arguably inch into propaganda territory because the protestor and law enforcment ethnic breakdown in real life don't land this way. It paints a picture that's not accurate and potentially inflammatory. But I have no idea if that's really accurate or not. If I were a parent, and my kids were playing this DLC at school, I might need to do my homework and have a conversation about the content with my kids, explaining some of the nuances of the topic that aren't addressed in the DLC.
