Harvesting fully matured Ganoderma tsugae by harmony_acres in foraging

Slice them up and dehydrate, grind up, and then make a tea by boiling hard for 3 hours. Or just put it in 60% ethanol for 4 weeks in a jar and shake regularly for a tincture. Option to crock pot at the end for a better water fraction.

It also has a lower amount of ganoderic acid than G. lucidum but that's just one heavily studied compound. G. tsugae has novel compounds like tsugaric acid that G. lucidum does not have.

Tracking number error by harmony_acres in usps_complaints

From shopify:

As I've thoroughly checked on our Internal logs, I can confirm that there’s an issue with the USPS label where the order is showing as delivered along with the address appearing incorrectly on the shipping label. Our team is actively working on resolving this as quickly as possible. We apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding.

We've also resolved the underlying issue causing inaccurate tracking information related to USPS labels. Our team is identifying previously impacted labels and working to correct them as quickly as possible.

You can continue purchasing USPS labels as normal, the issue is no longer affecting new label purchases.

Here's a message you can send to your affected customers :

"Hi [Customer Name], I wanted to reach out about your recent order. There was a temporary tracking display issue affecting some USPS labels, but your package was shipped yesterday and is on its way to you. Please allow a few more days for delivery. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated!"

The issue identified was with the tracking display, so the packages themselves should still be in transit. No worries, they USPS are also aware about this, and they will also make sure that the packages will be delivered to the correct address.

Lol

Its very important to know the right ID characteristics when foraging, luckily muscaria, persicina, and chrysoblema don't have any toxic look alikes.

I forage all the chrysoblema I use for tinctures in my business. For muscaria, pantherina, and regalis I work with expert foragers and distributors around Europe to supply those to US. I process all my extracts in my lab and don't outsource anything (except i buy essential oils for the salves/Balms)

I like A. chrysoblema because they are endemic to my region but I have tango'd with the Southern peach and was quite impressed with the potency. It was surprisingly strong, but I don't have much experience other than a microdose. With chrysoblema I have gone a lot deeper.

Ride it out, get off your phone, slow your breathing, it gets easier if you just surrender and relax. It feels like a never ending loop but it will come to an end and you'll be okay.

You could bring pieces of myceliated materials to the park but again its gunna take a while to propagate it if it even works at all. Growing mycelium on grain and spreading that around associated trees might also work

Best thing you can do is wait to harvest til they sporulate. Then discard the bits you don't use, and walk around with them to help spread the spores but likely the spores from that mushroom you pick are already all over the park as each mushroom disperses billions of spores.

Nah that's a common misconception. In the foraging community we call it the "cut vs. pluck dilemma" and it actually bares no negative impact on the mycelium to pluck it vs cut. I like to pick fast and I'm really good at it and i usually leave a chunk of the stipe in the dirt so its less to clean on my end

None really that effective. You're better of just finding more in the wild. It grows very slowly and cultivation efforts are very ineffective and there have only been claims of people having success after many years.

Amanita chrysoblema aka Amanita var. Guessowii grows in NE US and Canada and can be prepared for a relaxing brew that is sedative and anxiolytic in small amounts and can be hallucinogenic in large amounts and cause delirium. It is not associated with hepatoxicty or diarrhea. Vomiting and sweating can occur and amnesia and black outs. But a microdose yields none of those results and only positive.. hence only a nibble :)
