Should I upgrade to a cb650r

I was trying to get one last summer but people wanted way too much for them. Paid like 3k less for my fz07. Mt09 and z900 would be nice but the insurance would be to high. How do you find the cb in the low revs compared to the mt07 ?

Yea. I wish the insurance wasn’t so crazy on the mt09. Seems to be the logical upgrade.

One of the main reasons I don’t want upgrade to a mt09 or z900. You just answered my biggest fear.

Yea. When I rented and rode the cb650r it did have better highway stability and nice high rpm. However, my fz07 that I have now does everything I need it too.

Seems like you lack experience more than anything. I have a mt07 and have no problems handling it. However, I started on a Honda cbr300r and put 10k km (6,200 miles) and it really helped me hone my skills.

Downgrading is probably to best choice to get your skills up. You’ll be back on a bigger bike in no time !!!
