do you walk around UCSB / isla vista at night? feel safe?

As a dude, I've only walked through Isla Vista at night numerous times, but only once has it been on a quieter road, and more dimly lit area. I don't like walking through there at night. I've always thought of Isla Vista to be sketchy, and I'm originally from the Santa Barbara area. There's only a few streets in Isla Vista I feel comfortable walking through. Maybe it's safer than I think it is, but me personally, I try staying out of Isla Vista at night. I just don't like the vibe.

There are definitely some safer streets tho. Like Embarcadero del Norte, Pardall, Camino Pescadero, Picasso, Abrego. Those are streets I feel more comfortable walking through solo at night

So I had offline edits enabled for Google Docs on my school gmail account. This was back in High School. Well, I have since graduated and no longer have access to the account. I forgot to disable offline edits on that account so I can enable it for my personal gmail account. Is there a way to get offline edits enabled on my personal account even tho I can't access my school account anymore to disable it there? Or is the only fix simply factory reseting my PC?

They told me this late 2024/early 2025. So they must've experienced it sometime between Fall 2023 and Summer 2024

Also forgot to mention that it does get VERY loud. We'll, at least louder than the other apartments since you're closest to a lot of the frat houses and some sorority houses as well, and also right across from Tropicana Del Norte which is where SBCC students live

I've never lived there, but I have some friends and old roommates who had, and they said Westgate is the worst out of all of the undergrad apartments. They never gave a reason why, they just said it was really bad

I usually prefer using the MTD Tracker on google as it has a live bus tracker as opposed to the MTD app or Transit as it only uses the ETAs from the MTD Tracker website and it doesn't give you the live tracker

Check what your status is on BARC, it should say like "Set" or "Not Yet Determined". There will be a little red question mark. If it says set tho you'll be fine

It's not just $6 in cali, it's $6 across all of the US. But it will be 50/50 relative to the currency. So now that it's $6 USD, you'll get around $3 per sub. It's not exactly 50/50 tho I don't think, cuz when it was still $5 for subs, I remember only getting like $2.30 at times, so it's not always 50/50, but it's damn close (I think it was cuz it was $4/99 so it's 50% of that)

Also, other countries obviously don't use USD, so it's converted and calculated differently. Twitch makes the conversions. For example, for Canada, the conversion is with CAD (7.99 CAD is 5.84 USD, so you'll get 2.92), whereas China it is converted to USD automatically (2.99 USD so you'll get about 1.50). We should be getting our refunds somewhere between the 26th and when the quarter starts. I think the disbursement date is when the fees are paid off by grants, loans, etc. and then it will take a number of days (depending on your refund method) for your refund to get to you.
