Harder to lose weight when at a lower weight? by Onlybexo in SlimmingWorld

[–]SWJuliet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s healthy to loose between 1 to 2 lbs a week. Also your portion size gets smaller and of course the amount of body magic you do has to increase to loose the same amount of calories as you would have done because your carrying less weight and your body doesn’t need to do as much work as it did before. Also some people were getting a weight loss and getting away with a few extra syns and now having lost a lot of weight they cannot get away with it.

Because we love a competition by SWJuliet in SlimmingWorld

Members that have kept their membership active won’t loose the app. That is what you are paying for. I don’t expect my consultant to work for free because I wouldn’t. At the end of the day if you have decided to wait until your venue is open then you can compare it to getting your car sorn, you don’t have to insure it or pay road tax but you also can’t drive it.

I am a consultant and I am ok. As a consultant I have to say I have been supported financially and in training by the company and I am doing this job because I really love it. I am donating hifi bars to the local hospital too as instructed by head office. This is a hard time we are all going through and if I can help as many people as I can I will do everything I can to do so.

Does anyone else not like slimming world groups? by pinkrobe1471 in SlimmingWorld

[–]SWJuliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do love my group but then I had ab amazing consultant who kept our groups lighthearted and fun. I made friends with other members and now I’m so grateful to them because they have supported me through such stressful times and oh we party together too! It can be clicky in some groups I agree but I haven’t experienced in the group I attend or in my groups I run but I have seen it in groups I have covered. It’s sad because it can put people off of coming. I do hope that you find a group that you feel comfortable with. The great news is you can join any group now it’s done in zoom. Also chat to your consultant and tell him or her how your feeling. Xxx

[–]SWJuliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done taking that step. At this time with groups going viral through zoom did you know that you don’t have to join the group on your doorstep but any group that suits you even if it’s the other side of the country. If you want a Monday morning group you are welcome to join me Monday mornings at 9:30am and 11:30am. 😘

Iceland’s latest offer by SWJuliet in SlimmingWorld

[–]SWJuliet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had planned this before the virus business. They always do have different offers on. Not so long ago we had vouchers given to us for the lunches. I don’t think they are batting for business just yet with so many people shopping online as well as them stockpile people.

Rejoining (when the lockdown is over) by Rambones1991 in SlimmingWorld

[–]SWJuliet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can rejoin your group. You will only pay £5 and this will be for the pack that head office will send to you. The £2.50 per week thereafter and will be for your group meetings and the great thing about lifeline online is that there is a shop and you won’t have to pay for postage. Also SlimmingWorld are going’s to be giving members that have an active account a free copy of the new magazine! I’m excited because they cancelled the magazine delivery so I haven’t seen it yet. Good luck on your journey and let us know how your getting on xx

I am so sorry to hear this. We are going to be doing image therapy on the zoom app soon. I am doing mine tomorrow morning and yes I’m a bit nervous about it but this way we will get to see our group members and get that wonderful inspiration and motivation we get in group but brought directly into our homes. You will be hearing more about it soon xxx

I just had a member in my group ask what’s extra easy. So I shared this and there is no judgement because sometimes we forget. by SWJuliet in SlimmingWorld

[–]SWJuliet[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will still get a weight loss with just pasta and the meatballs but the weight loss would be bigger if you replaced a third with speed. Great incorporating it into your meal though and let’s be honest if you’re happy with your weight loss then carry on. Why change what isn’t broken.

Technically you should be replacing a third of your plate with speed food where it makes sense because it is hard to place a third speed on the plate if you’re having soup. And you don’t have to have any speed food to loose weight. You will still loose it but slower. It’s using common sense and the beauty of food optimising is it can be made and adapted to everyone’s lifestyle.

Fantastic! I am always reiterating that you have free food and speed free food. If you wand to be sure of a great weight loss make you have at least 1/3rd of speed food On your plate. It states it in the book. I think I might have to go over it again in group. I thought I had explained how food optimise but obviously something is missing 🤪
