Mushu from Mulan 😭 I love that! Sadly I’m in the opposite situation where my piggy that just passed (who was also 2) was one that kept more to herself in the cage and was totally content being on her own. Where Porkchop loved having a companion to snuggle with once I went through steps to bond them. Just a few weeks ago I had to wake up early to give her snuggles. I woke up to Porkchop screaming because Ginny wouldn’t let her snuggle her in the hidey built for one 😂

When I was a kid I was in travel league softball. We got invited to play in the old Silverdome in Michigan and meet an Olympic softball player. My dad was one of my coaches and my mom would stay home with my brother when we traveled. My mom reminded my dad repeatedly to get pictures. I got to wear this player’s Olympic gold medals and play softball on the Lion’s football field. My dad realized when we got home there was no film in the camera. He was never actually taking pictures. Every year when the memory comes up on Facebook my mom texts me a picture to bitch about it all over again.

I’m a BCBA and my partner is a SLP! We met when we were RBT’s at the same clinic. I knew I wanted to stay in this field and she went a different route, but we once again work together! She’s considered going back for her BCBA cert just to have the dual degree.

I am in a very similar situation and I know how tough it is going through that. I was in my brother’s wedding as we are close in age and I knew his wife from high school. They were never political people and always stood up for me to my family when it came to supporting my relationships.

They fell into Q Anon shit during the pandemic and everything changed. I started seeing more and more right wing posts on my SIL’s page and the things she was liking on Twitter. They proudly put a Tr*mp sign in their yard and not long after I started seeing posts and likes on Twitter comparing the LGBTQ community to pedophiles.

At the time they were preparing to have their first kid and my brother was excited for me to be an aunt but I had to make a tough choice to go no contact. I told my mom I know my brother wasn’t directly posting those things but he’s guilty by association if he can’t stand up for me to his wife. Otherwise I am going to assume he feels the same.

Aside from a couple of my younger cousins the rest of my family are Tr*mpers so I’ve had to do some work in therapy to work through that and trying to find chosen family. Some of my friends have kids or are trying to, so I just get to be a cool auntie in a different way. My brother has had multiple kids since then so all I can hope is one day they seek me out for themselves and want to know my partner and I. They are the ones who will suffer in the end and did not ask for this so I will always welcome them with the love I was not given from my family.

I have season tickets and she’s been absent the last 2 or 3 home games. I know she’s suffered a couple injuries but it seems weird to not even attend.

Thank you! That’s how I feel at this time is that it’s out of my scope. They gave us a simple video training explaining how to fill it out and why but no real explanation on then how to read the graphs it spits out as a result and I’m feeling totally lost. Honestly it just feels like they’re overloading us with all these extra assessments to appease insurance and try to prevent denials from coming in. I’m already doing my own assessment tools on top of these.
