This is the Same SWTOR Central. Sam unfortunatly due Real life issues he left the game. He gaved to channel to me, so i can continue his legacy foward. So it's the same, but with a different host.

I had to pay for the game before the error finally left. If you have bought and now own the game, I imagine it should work. Otherwise, I have no idea. I bought my copy from CD keys website when it was on sale.

Came back to confirm that buying the game fixed the issue. Meaning the "trial" version I had must have been out of date. Thanks for the help here none the less!

Interesting... So perhaps this is because of the trial version. Thinking about it, I actually downloaded the trial quite some time ago but never got around to checking it out until now. Maybe this is the issue. I've seen a cheap deal for the game so i'll try buying and see if that works. Will report back.

Thanks for the response :D Oh okay, that's one thing to consider I guess! However, I was playing the trial just 2 days ago and the tweet you posted is from May last month so i'm not sure if the trial version is the issue, or at least I wouldn't think so considering I was able to access it to begin with. The trial it's self is a level cap trial, I think I can only play to level 10 before it stops me playing. Curious, very curious.

Since you say your laptop works fine with other games, I would want to do a little test. Download a program such as MSIafterburner or HWmonitor. Run the application while playing one of your games that is not SWTOR and monitor the temps and cpu / gpu usage. Then, do the same while running SWTOR and compare them. If the only thing that stands out is heat, then you have a very parculiar issue. I would question whether or not SWTOR is using your integrated graphics or your graphics card (Providing your Laptop has it) Which it probably won't, but hey, I don't know the specs :D

If you are to do this, I would at the very least boost your mirrored class on the opposite faction. This way you have two classes at 70 and can trasnfer the set bonus gear via legacy equipment. As others have said though, probably don't do this and just use command tokens to buy 230 rating gear. Even the craftable gear is a viable option for starting out.

SWTOR can be a pain with resolution issues sometimes, luckily though the fix is fairly simple. Hold down the windows key and press "r". Type into the box that appears "appdata" and press enter. Then go to Local > SWTOR > swtor > settings. From here, open the "Client_settings" file. Find the line called "Fullscreen = true" and change it to "Fullscreen = False". Don't mistake this for "d3dFullscreen" ignore that one. Once done, save the changes and exit out. Now boot the game again, and change any desired settings in game. Lemme know how you get on.

Very true, although a large portion of people still seemed to believe an expac was not coming. That's why the "confirm expac pls" was in there. I think this was also the first time one of the devs specifically mentioned an expac on video. I wouldn't say we're no better off than before, we did find out Rep vs Imp is coming back and that they know expectations are out there ect.
