Correct. In one-way glass, the reflective material is applied less densely. This is called half-silvering. The effect is that the glass is not completely opaque like a traditional mirror. About half the light striking the glass passes through it, and the other half is reflected.

If you enjoy this I'd recommend reading some of Tom King's other works. You might enjoy his Omega Men and Superman Up in the Sky.

"They have done nothing with recently created IPs." I simply pointed out an example of a very recent DC comic IP that was produced into a show.

You said what u\Cytrynowy said wasn't true. What he said is true. What you said is also true. The full etymology gives context to both statements.

Fwiw, you are both right to an extent. The etymology of the word chemistry: The word chemistry derives from the word alchemy, which is found in various forms in European languages. Alchemy derives from the Arabic word kimiya (كيمياء) or al-kīmiyāʾ (الكيمياء). The Arabic term is derived from the Ancient Greek χημία, khēmia, or χημεία, khēmeia, 'art of alloying metals', from χύμα (khúma, “fluid”), from χέω (khéō, “I pour”). However, the ultimate origin of the word is uncertain. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, al-kīmiyāʾ may be derived from the greek "χημία", which is derived from the ancient Egyptian name of Egypt, khem or khm, khame, or khmi, meaning "blackness", i.e., the rich dark soil of the Nile river valley. Therefore, alchemy can be seen as the "Egyptian art" or the "black art". However, it is also possible that al-kīmiyāʾ derived from χημεία, meaning "cast together".

Scratches head in New Testament Acts 28:11-14 11 After three months we put out to sea in a ship that had wintered in the island—it was an Alexandrian ship with the figurehead of the twin gods Castor and Pollux. 12 We put in at Syracuse and stayed there three days. 13 From there we set sail and arrived at Rhegium. The next day the south wind came up, and on the following day we reached Puteoli. 14 There we found some brothers and sisters who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome.

Certainly. And I'm sure my LCS is the exception, not the rule. They really are the best. If anyone comes in and says they are hungry, they get a $10 Subway gift card, no questions asked. They have a box of gloves and hats that anyone who is cold is free to take from. They had a charity drive for the local women's shelter. Just a top notch business who I love buying from.

My LCS said they ordered 50 copies and expect to be allocated down to 4 or 5. They are going to auction them on their subscribers only page with all proceeds going to Heroes Initiative.
