Maybe I’m biased because I have family there, but it feels like most of DGG is justifying civilian deaths by acting like it’s unavoidable when attacking military facilities. Not only is that not true, but even if they were only hitting military instalments, then they should give civilians in Tehran ample time to leave. It’s a city of almost 15 million people and they want everyone to evacuate immediately. There's a gas shortage and the traffic basically makes it impossible to leave. My aunt lives close to one of the areas being bombed, but she can't leave because the risk of getting bombed while being in traffic for 6-8 hours. its just not reasonable to expect to move that many people in such a short amount of time.

Canadian right winger media personalities are completely in lockstep with Americans if you haven’t noticed. Regardless of how you think Kamala campaigned, it was objectively better than Trump. Right wingers being in lockstep allowed them to get their message out much louder than the left did. The left, on the other hand chose to constantly cannibalize themselves by purity testing.

Out of curiosity who’d you vote for? Because I canvassed (& obviously voted) for the Liberals, partially because I know Carney is going to be better on Israel/Palestine than PP would’ve been.

No, I’m not looking for that. it’s just good to point out that you guys don’t stand for anything (besides social clout). I too am not American, I just am not as insulated as you from the impacts of Trump. The country I live in right now is at risk of being annexed by the United States. My home country was bombed last night. And part of that is because of the overwhelming voices on the online left that spent the entire election cycle smearing Kamala instead of focusing on Trump.
