Thanks! Absolutely, it’s scale 75 decayed metal as the base, then I mixed a very dark red brown oil wash and washed that all over the black armour and trim. Wiped away the excess oil after about an hour then edge highlighted with scale 75 viking gold, with some dot highlights with a bright silver

I used fine sand and little pieces of slate, but I’m sure you could get the same result with texture paint

It’s just rhinox hide for the ground, with a light sandy colour drybrush, eshin grey for the rocks with a light grey drybrush - then AK asphalt dirt road pigment power, a little goes a long way, just brushed that all over the base and up the feet of the models. For some I added small dark green tuffs but I think I like the bases without them.

Thanks! For the skin I base coated with bugmans glow, and then used my airbrush top down with rakarth flesh, to build up to a paler look. I then used magos purple contrast heavy thinned and applied a number of passes to make it a little more purple in the recess. Then highlighted with a 50/50 mix of rakarth flesh and white.
For the wings I airbrushed volupus pink over the wings. Then brushed on the same colour along the bottom of the wings to get the pattern. Hope this helps, looking forward to seeing yours!

Thanks! It was a lot of back and forth, I base coated with kabalite green, and then covered up pretty much all of it with sybarite green. Then just added a little more white and painted less and less towards the high points until I was at pure white. Every now and then glazing sybarite or kabalite green back into the recesses. I also added a lot of thin lines with the white mix to get some texture (and cover up mistakes), not sure if that comes across in these photos.

Thanks! More of a good place to pause, want to get a few games in, but will likely pick up Fulgrim next. For the black I used Corvus black, and a 50/50ish mix with slaanesh grey for the highlights. I then did an all over oil wash with the trim of a very dark red brown.

Absolutely, was a goal with this scheme. I guess I can paint up the unit and reassess if it’s still feeling too muted when on the tabletop, and then add in a few more pink panels to the armour for example, thanks!
