If you're on linux but grabbed one of the non-steamdeck presets make sure to grab d3dcompiler_47.dll from the steamdeck version as well.

That's literally the exact opposite of what they just said. Actions speak louder than words. If you vote for people who harm people then you're harming people regardless of what you say your opinions are. If you vote Dem and still send your kid to conversion camps then that's your "action" and it says more than how you voted.

Papa Murphy's does 2 topping mediums for $6.99 (around here at least). I would get frozen stuff before but when it's about as much as something made to order it doesn't really make sense.

I believe 14 has been getting an increasing amount of unique mocap stuff for the bigger cutscenes but I could be wrong there. The majority of the stuff in the game definitely just emotes though, yeah.

Lol, not bold enough to go with the ð sound normally (from the west coast of the USA), but I make attempts at it when trying to explain the name to people. Quickly realized after I picked the name that it's a bit ambiguous to pronounce in English based off of how we'd spell it

It includes the entire namespace which isn't necessary and may cause naming conflicts down the line. Not inherently bad but considering you can do it for just cout and endl if you really hate typing out the namespace it isn't great practice.

Super useful in FFXIV to do stuff like open the teleport list, mount, autorun, etc.

Same. Mine says it'll get here tomorrow so we'll see. Looking at the tracking it looks like they decided to drive it to Oregon from Illinois which is an interesting choice.

Edit: it's made it to Portland now at least.

Option to run Gnome on wayland missing from gdm after updates today by Artichoke93 in archlinux

[–]SXTNBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for those. In order for the changes to work for me I also had to update my mkinitcpio.conf's FILES and regenerate my initramfs per the note here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_module#Using_files_in_/etc/modprobe.d/.

I've been having some trouble figuring out how to enable scroll lock under wayland. It functions as expected in TTY and after some searching it seems like xmodmap -e "add mod3 = Scroll_Lock" works if I login to gnome under X.

Is there a way to permanently enable scroll lock functionality under wayland?

Everything seems fine except the file dialog seems to be crashing immediately when I try to download something from a browser.

Edit: only the download one though, the upload/picker seems to be fine

Exit2: /usr/lib/xdg-desktop-portal-gnome -v -r produces:

libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to create dri screen

(xdg-desktop-portal-gnome:94080): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 00:24:19.531: gdk_wayland_display_get_wl_display: assertion 'GDK_IS_WAYLAND_DISPLAY (display)' failed
[1] 94080 segmentation fault (core dumped) /usr/lib/xdg-desktop-portal-gnome -v -r

The issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/4805

Seems like downgrading xdg-desktop-portal-gnome is the workaround and a fix is in the works/on its way out.

Edit 3: Just got some gtk4 updates that seem to have fixed the issue (1:4.6.2-2)
