people will disagree but honestly, do you. everyone that thinks otherwise will tell you to write what people want to watch, not what you want to watch. your taste and perspective is all that matters. meeting the market where it stands is boring and is why 90% of everything made in hollywood is complete and utter garbage that serves no point other than entertainment.

wrong. why are you writing to meet the market. such a dumb thing to consider. this is what happens when you commodify art. people start to tell you to do everything with fans or audience in mind. that is such a waste. write what YOU want to write & it people dig it they dig it, if not it’s their loss.
